Its just the internet going through a phase, having some harmless fun. Its such an easy, accessible and near-universal subject the memes write themselves. It'll run its course before long.

Its not that dissimilar to when people got sad over Luigi getting his soul ripped out by Death in the Belmont Smash Bros trailer, to the point Nintendo actually released a statement on twitter to confirm that Luigi was ok, or all the fanart dedicated to Waluigi over the confirmation of his non-playability in Ultimate.

Sun Grown's good, but I go for the Maduro. Dark and rich complexities that put you in a trance almost, along with a slow burn when properly humidified. Which reminds me, I need cigars.

On the topic of hats, I usually stick with the Army issue fleece cap in black or my baseball hats in Army colors or Jeep. However with Arizona looming up I've been considering new hat styles...

Metro Exodus feels very rough around the edges. I replayed both games several months ago on the Xbox, and playing the newest one here, also on Xbox, it feels off. The controls are sluggish, load times are surprisingly long, even on the behemoth that is the Xbox One X, and I've already experienced three different crashes. None of these were issues in the Redux, for either game. I'm hoping for some sort of patch, because otherwise the game itself has been stellar when it goes right. I'd hate for these little technical problems that can be fixed to further hurt my experience so far because the game has so much else going for it.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is everything I hate about JRPG's, but at the same time it has so much charm and character I am still enjoying it for the most part. The game is extremely linear, with several zones being more or less hallways with some turns and bends, and every other battle you get pushed into a cutscene that runs longer than the fight preceding it, sometimes even longer than the fight and the walk to get there. The music is incredible, and seeing the Disney worlds come to life with more or less a 1:1 recreation is what I wanted out of the game, and it mostly delivers that. The anime melodrama bullshit often goes hand-in-hand with that I actually like about the game, but perhaps this is just an acquired taste. A taste I have yet to develop.

I just finished the Toy Story segment, and one of the best parts about it was both Woody and Buzz riffing on how absurd Kingdom Hearts is.

Tonight, it's me and 5 random players against a 6-stack with top 500 players in it.
