Hm. It's energetic, and to my ears, almost upbeat. Like what you'd hear during the big final action sequence, when the killer is closing in on the final girl, or the threat of the film is in the open and it's do-or-die time. I get the influence of the classics, but I can't quite place the exact ones it makes me think of. The, whatever you call it, high and lows (?) especially.

Meanwhile I had one of those days where everything pissed me off. Homeowner quibbling over minor nitpicks that really aren't my fucking job to fix? Check. Tedious new extras to paint? Check. Pointless traveling all around the state to look at new jobs that are a half day of labor at best? Check. Gotta get up early again tomorrow for more piddling stuff? Check.

But at least I'm getting paid. Doesn't work everyday, but it's a comfort at the end of the week.

So I'm in the Second Act and my character is spending A LOT of time with Emi. I think it's because I chose to push myself while running and collapsed, which forced her to help me to the nurse's office and have a small bonding experience. (But then, maybe that's where the story is supposed to take me). Emi's pretty cute and I think her character is really starting to like mine. What's great about that is that I also get to hang with Rin, who I think is actually really cool. I don't know why my character keeps thinking of her as weird because I personally get her humor. I don't want to 'feel sorry' for her, since she has no arms, but I can't help it. Of all characters so far, Rin is the one with the biggest difficulty, although her attitude suggests the opposite as she is very capable and doesn't allow it to stop her from ding what she wants. I can't wait to see what happens between her and mine.

So far I think I'm in good terms with Shirzune as she and Misha still come up to me and talk during class. I introduced myself to the class and asked her to show me around the school. I actually rather like her and am more interested in her than the other characters, I want to see more of her character. I don't know why I wasn't given the option of looking for her during the festival, though.

I think I pissed off Lilly when she 'fought' with Shirzune. Hanako runs away from me every time I open my mouth. I'm just doing everything wrong with them so far. Sigh.

Ok, so what you want to do is Vit dump,a nd put a lot of points into endurance, ok? Then you want to get haves ring, and the ring of favor and protection. Thats going to give you health, stamina, and a ton of carry weight. Get the Zwiehander, go to the catacombs and find the chaos ember, and kill pinwheel for the Mask of the Father.

Then, and this is the important part, get to Anor Londo, chaos infuse the zwaihander, buy the giants armor, put all that shit on and PWN SOME FUCKING NEWBS WHAT ARE YOU CASUAL.

And thats how you beat katawa shoujo.

Just got home form Mallorca. It reminded me a lot of the ghetto I grew up in, only with more Spanish, beaches and palm trees. And bottled water.
