We only downed two more bosses last evening. I'm not excepting myself here, but a lot of the other raid members need a few tries to not die to basic mechanics. I really noticed how much less mechanics I need to be even aware of as a melee on some fights, because the range camp needs to deal with them. ^^
Apparently Vengeance is the preferred M+ tank too, because tank damage is very high, and ability to kite is paramount. Haven't met the Grue yet, close as I was. Though I hear the Endless runs are supposed to even harder, so that'll surely be the first for me.
Lovely, innit? Ranged have it so good normally. Though I'm still ingrained in BC/Wrath design, where everything cleaves, so I get a bit over sensitive about standing in the frontal 180, heh.

So far I only die to stupidity on my part (overconfident mass pulls, for example) and the level six floor bosses. We'll see how next week goes in layers seven to eight. In the first week, that Venthyr boss was a real doozy and killed my Havoc DH six times in a row, no matter what I tried to do. Had to re-do that run completely on Vengeance spec and it still took three tries. They have nerfed that dude by now, though.
I really don't have too much good equipment right now, especially since we only downed five bosses in six hours of tries total on Normal difficulty this week. Yeah, raids definitely have become much harder, too.

Cyberpunk is S0 broken...
I cant charge tech weapons in my game. It just isn't an option.
I summoned my vehicle and it showed up on its ass, and then exploded.
I have a mission that has a quest marker leading to nowhere.
Any time digital artifacting is used in a cinematic moment, it does not disappear until I quit and reload the game, or die.
This is... really bad.

Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
Yeah, I had two vehicles of mine summon one time on top of each other and explode. Funny as hell.
I haven't yet run into uncompleteable quests, but that happened to me in Witcher 3, so no biggie. I presume some stuff didn't trigger and since the question marker quests are just small-scale side stuff, I wouldn't worry too much.
No idea about the tech weapon stuff and the cinematic moments problem. I had one time, on the first day, when the shadow texture turned peoples face pitch black, but that was after save scumming a hard early mission like crazy and didn't appear again after that.
Other than some really minor stuff (one random guy T-Posing, some floating unconcious people), I've had no real problem so far.
The residents of Night City are real finicky about people riding their motorbikes on walkways, though. Sheesh.

I've had a couple T-poses and once my weapons wouldn't come up. Couldn't do anything.
Apparently the fix for that is triggering a cutscene. One of the easiest cutscenes to trigger? That's right, Joytoy on Jig Jig street.
Gotta get down to get it up, I guess.

I'm fairly sure the Total Warhammer AI is scripted to know when a settlement is about to get walls built. I've had more attacks from nowhere on the turn before the walls go up than anything else by far.
Also, skaven confederating is brilliantly timed. Soon as the clan you're prosecuting a war on starts to lose, confederate, now you have healthy armies coming from the other side to attack. If you stabilize, they confederate a third clan. It's cunning. Thankfully Skyre never seems to come out on top, so no McNukes at least.

Took a covid test today because my mentor needs me to take one before I can come to his studio. I had to swab my nose and it felt like the scene in Total Recall where Arnold has that mechanism he shoved up his nose. I...had a very hard time doing it. It was so uncomfortable. I did it solo in my car so I didn't have anyone to tell me if I was doing it right. I'm not complaining, call me a wuss if you want, I'm sharing what I experienced. It was just...so wrong. Now I know why the people on the radio joke saying you've been 'violated'. I hope I don't have to do that again.

Watching how quickly the internet, and journalists, turned on CDPR is truly astounding.
Disappointment is one thing, but this is outright revelry.
It is exactly what happened to Bethesda. Now CDPR is the 'worst company ever so bad worse than EA'.

Well of course. It's a game people were actually looking forward to, and not a critics' darling. And so was the company making it (more interested to listen to consumers than to critics and journalists, I mean). So now that they've got their first big fuckup on their hands, every asshole with a blog or a Twitter account is zerg-rushing them.
The fact that Sony is refusing to refund people (even tho thei're pretty much one of the main reasons CDPR had to rush release, because they wanted that sweet console launch title) isn't helping either.

Oddly enough, I'm the hard opposite. I'm so decoupled from my body usually that anything medical doesn't bother me in the slightest. Nudity, invasive tests, being put under sedition, jamming things in things, doesn't register any emotional reaction. Wonder why we diverge on this point when so similar otherwise.

I'm seeing a more nuanced take, but then again I only watch a portion of the coverage, i.e. two major German gaming sites, Angry Joe (who is, ahem, angry but still likes much of the game) and then in a minor function YongYea and a smattering of other people. I'm staying away on purpose from Jim Sterling, because I see him as a big fat hypocrite, anyway. The rest of the people are of no interest to me, anyway and I actively avoid Kotaku and the other super-woke websites, because they hate CD Projekt Red, anyway.

Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
SO, I just beat my first playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077
Couple things: the hate is undeserved, considering the game just launched and there's always bugs in the first few months. If I railed on every game that had bugs, I'd never be able to enjoy the story, mechanics, or gameplay of any game. I still heavily enjoy Fallout 4, and that game is buggy as fuck.
The story is amazing, and I cannot wait for round 2 as a V from another background. I figured Nomad was how I'd be, now it's time for someone from the other side.
Endings: Holy shit.

Don't spoil, please. ^^ I'm still far out from anything, since I decided to do as much side stuff as possible, to grind out some levels and cyberware. And I probably will not be able to really get back into the meat of things until December 26th, beginning on that day I have nine almost uninterrupted days to finish the entire game.

Oh don't worry, I won't spoil anything.
Let's just say Mass Effect 3's endings can't hold a candle to this preem execution.

I wouldn't expect anything less from CD Projekt Red. The Witcher 3 ending still gives me a great tinge of nostalgia, for how well executed it was.

I haven't finished it yet, just had a look at how many missions there are before the point of no return and it seems really short which is a bit sad, they really meant it when they said it was shorter than TW3.
I already thought I'd done a metric fuck tonne of side quests, but looks like I'm doing more.

Oh yeah. You just do core missions you're missing out on a lot of content.

I got over the hump of being embarrassed undressing when it comes to medicine (though I could use some more confidence/bravery in the shirtless at the beach/pool department. Sigh, I'm too old to consider being embarrassed about that) The nose was the last one though, I've had all of my possible invasive test spots... tested. I still can't look at my arm when getting blood drawn or a shot given, however I leveled up from the clenching of my fists to just slightly squeezing my thigh. Baby steps.

Fighting skaven (TW2) is one of the least rewarding factions to win against. Because you still got fucked in the process. 9 turn plagues, instant city downgrades, McNukes, spawning a unit of infantry anywhere on the map multiple times, then _detonating_ that unit to wipe out whatever's attacking it, very strong ranged, super strong artillery, very powerful level 1 AOE spell, ambush attacks, hidden settlements, unit wiping bomb chuckers, on and on and on. It's entirely winnable with good tactics and planning, but unlike any other faction, you still get hosed in the process.
Got hit with plague twice in the current war. Second time, had agents ready to kill the fucker, but he came by sea, got to a settlement in one turn. Long, slogging war, since apparently 1 minor settlement can fund 4 full stacks for the AI. A field battle is a game of neutralizing the death globe bombers and gunners immediately, and artillery if they have it, while wiping out a couple thousand infantry rats. But the galling bit is that at the very end, storming their last city with 2 stacks, it would've been a flawless victory, 0 units lost, but for them spawning an infantry unit in the middle of my veteran infantry, then detonating it, and nearly destroying those troops that'd been with me from the start. Fucking skaven.
Man, puberty decided my torso was going to look awful, and adulthood hasn't changed it. Haven't gone shirtless in a long, long time, and nothing seems to help. Need a course of Accutane or something.
Though watching the blood being drawn makes it oddly more painful. Probably something about the visual causing an expectation to manifest more pain. But hey, in but a short decade, prostate exams!

Oh, they are definitely the most improved faction from all the DLC's. ^^ I've only ever played Ikkit Claw, because nukes, but they are a pain to play against.
Much easier to wipe out the Dark Elves again with Alarielle.

Been replaying Injustice's story mode before finally digging into the second game (very happy to see it working without a single hint of lag... especially considering that Mortal Kombat11 runs on the same engine...). Still love the idea and how they managed to implement it in a fighting game but for the love of Trigon... graphics really REALLY don't hold up. I mean, the environments are fine, but everyone not wearing a mask looks like a poorly customized action figure, and an all female fighters have the MK9 Sonya Blade jawline. And if you play Injustice2 right after... yeah, it looks even worse by comparison lol
Really hope NRS jumps into the remastered games bandwagon at some point, their pre-MKX titles could really use a makeover. To the studio's credit tho, I still enjoy playing both the first Injustice and MK9.
