I'd say at the best, one should think of it as minutes where the heart beating has increased. If a flat walk for 20 minutes gets the heart really beating, then that's what you need. Now as you get used to that then the heart adjusts and it takes a bit more to get it beating, that's where inclined walking can come in.

So if for you right now walking up the stairs gets your heart pumping faster then that's the better workout for you. Then again, fresh air is a great stimulant.

Yes, for cardio, so long as the heart rate remains elevated during the exercise, it's working. Strength training is different.

Edit: There'll be opt-in beta stress tests starting tomorrow. "Layering," which seems to be continent-wide sharding, will be active until Phase 1 is over, though Ion says ideally it'll only last a month. A fair compromise, since the game is unplayable if everyone is jammed into the same starting areas, in a literal sense. Server crashes, inability to quest or even grind, so it's either "layering" or opening multiple temporary servers, result is the same. Anyone else bored of developers releasing a new game just for it be very similar to a previous recent game they've created just with a fresh paint of coat and a few small mechanics added?

The newest suspect is Rage 2, it's basically doom in a different setting with some powers thrown in.

pretty much that's how I feel with most games, the only games I'm looking forward to in the future are Medievil (because of nostalgia), Cyberpunk 2077 (because of the developers) and Death Stranding (because of Kojima is going to come up with something weird).

At this point, I'd be happy if big devs would make their games again but with incremental changes. Instead they keep trying to reinvent the wheel to market to a broader audience and it's always a kick in the balls.

Guess why I've avoided anything Ubisoft for the past five years. It's because these corporations are afraid of taking risks and trying something new because they've found a successful formula and people are vapid enough to buy into it.

It saves me money, but it makes me nostalgic for the early 2000s as well. Back when all kinds of games showed up, no matter the size and it didn't feel like the companies were just out to get your money, but rather to release a good product that could endure for a long time instead of being a "get rich quick" scheme.

It's a sequel to Oddworld: New 'n Tasty loosely based on on the second game in the original Oddworld series. But it's not a shot-by-shot remake, so to speak.

Janemba was a heavily fan-requested character, and his unique and bizarre abilities will no doubt make him a fun addition.

But overall, Fighterz Pass 2 is lacking. Videl was the best addition in the lot. Marketing and raw fan popularity mandated that Gogeta and Canon!Broly be included; there was no getting around that. But Jiren and GT Kid Goku could have waited for a third season of dlc. The game would have been better served if Caulifla/Kale/Kefla, Dabura, Master Roshi, or Mr. Satan had taken their spots.

I'd forgotten how cunt-y the ritual intervention forces could be in Total Warhammer 2. Should always let the AI start the next ritual first so everyone blows their money on fucking them up instead. Real nice of them to spawn multiple stacks of gold chevron units deep in my homeland in the one area I don't have walls on my settlements, so they can then raze every single one of them on their way to my capital, which has 6 or so full intervention stacks sieging it. But none are actually attacking all my expensive, fancy defenses, so I have to send a relief army to free them, and oh look the Skaven one has ridiculous movement range and gets an ambush attack. Fuck. Going to take like 50 turns to rebuild my capital if it falls, High Elf campaign has been utterly easy otherwise.

I've literally never played the Vortex campaign, just went on directly to Mortal Empires and never looked back. Maybe I should one day do it to shake up the meta.

Anyway, after I finally finished Borderlands 2 on Friday evening (RPG group was cancelled this week, sadly), I decided to not start a new game or at least new campaign on WH2 this weekend, due to TW:3K being out this Thursday. I hate to start a game and not finish it in one go and I presume 3K will take up the next weeks. I plan to start with a Sun Jian or Ma Teng campaign, since they have very defensible corner positions, or better said juicy minor fiefdoms behind them for the easy taking with no other major warlords in their "corner", so that I can learn the game more easily. I'll probably take Sun Jian, since he seems to have a very good faction mix of offensive and commercial abilities and a very easy to use campaign mechanic (bravery) as well.
