From what we've seen, Watch Dogs Legion looks like the best game Ubisoft had to show. You can have a lot of fun with the whole "You're the hacker known as 4chan, go explode some vans" premise.
Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
I'm a sucker for Far Cry games, solely on the villain. Though they badly need to do some innovating if they're aiming to redo FC4 in spirit. Psuedo-philosophical dictator explains his reasoning for why violence is great over the course of the game, but with the hook of an heir distinct from the PC, as you tear down his territory, needs some freshness. A thematic pina colada.

There's not a damned thing Ubisoft is selling that I feel like buying anymore.

Damn, I pre-ordered Satan's Secretary Vol 2 because it was suppose to come out this June. Now it's not expected until June 2025.

There is a notable influx of "demons are good/sexy/funny" media lately, and I don't know why.

Helltaker. Look it up, it's fun and it's free.
Also demon-girls have always been a weakness of mine, so either way I'm pretty happy of the trend xD

Manga. Satan wakes from his slumber to conquer the earth and one of his first prisoners is a human woman who happens to talk him into being his secretary to help him destroy all humans. Very funny.

Too bad my current PC can't run the damn thing, but that's not the game's fault lol

Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
I started REALLY getting into gardening after 3 years of being into gardening.
I've learned so much about myself this past decade. For one I'm REALLY slow. It takes a long time for me to absorb information and process it. I stew information. I've never been one to jump at something and go full blast, but I guess you can say I'm like a freight train. Slow to start, but inch my inch the momentum grows and eventually I'm running and can't be stopped. (Let's hope that last part translates into success in my career). I can't be doing something unless I'm into it.
Anyway, after that side thought, I've really learned more about how I can grow food with a little bit of container space on my balcony and more than just growing, but when to grow too. I've been fed up with dying and under performing kale and tomatoes for years, but my experiments lately have proven quite fruitful and I hope it translates into further experiments and seeing results. Experiments include different watering thinking and using neighborhood leaves as mulch.
2 weeks ago I planted peas and beans in a 5-7 gallon pot. 9 peas and 3 beans in roughly a foot diameter pot. It's the deepest I've planted and if they're a success come August then I'm going to incorporate more 5-7 gallon deep pots in my garden.
Since my summers can get quite hot (at least in the 100s) and I get INTENSE afternoon sun I've learned that a better time to plant might be fall for me. So I have a fall planting guide that starts mid-September, including beans, peas, kale and lettuce. Garlic is in there too, but that's for winter.
So with 2 months until fall planting begins I found some quick crops to grow until then. So today I planted carrots and bokchoy. I don't intend for the carrots to get award winning huge, since the pots they're in are quite shallow, but hopefully 1-2 inch carrots would be nice. Plus the bokchoy would have fully matured before September, meaning I can have a full crop in before I plant. And I'm really invested in a better philosophy for planting.
So does anyone do gardening here?
@Maz, I assume peas are big where you live?
@Alien, do you or your family grow tomatoes and peppers?
@Vol, you're Jersey, so......corn?

Nah they're only a few millimetres across, biggest I've seen were 1/4 inch big.
Nah, seriously , they're pretty standard here, enough to be common.

No, my father used to grow peppers and odors, since they dont' take much room and are easy to grow, but he's... not around anymore, and I have never tried.

That whole channell is pretty fun. It's kind of surreal seeying the american husband reacting to all that stuff that for me is just everyday things. Guess I do live in a pretty nice country, despite of all the local morons seemingly hellbent to try to convince me of the opposite.

I hurt my back just the other day
Moving a box of cat litter out of the way
I twisted strange and heard a pop
Maybe I need to start warming up?
I get heartburn now, I guess that’s fine
Just take a pill every day ordered neatly in line
I forget sometimes, they work so well
And spend the next day in gastrointestinal hell
Coffee, well, can’t drink that no more
Even just a bit makes life a chore
I jitter and panic and my guts it does punch
Awake for two days after a cup at lunch
I used to live on 4 hours of sleep
Now I need at least 8 of counting sheep
Games will wait I learned this way
But I miss the marathons I did back in the day
Older than Mario, older than Batman
Maybe I really should not give a damn
But its hard not to feel like a childish fool
When you immerse in a false-life at a Japanese high-school
My Mother, she says that her shoulder still hurts
My Father complained that his pecker wouldn’t work
My Grandpa died not knowing the day
And I just turned 30 today.

Sci, I swear, you're like a mirror version of me that's capable of following through on ideas and plans.
I suppose that makes me the evil one.
But yeah, enjoyed planting little gardens as a kid, with the family, but fell off with the years and moving out of NJ. Want to get back into it, but this isn't my land to till. Though container farming might be doable. Honestly, if I had the means, I'd get a nice little plot of land going. Potato, peppers, garlic, all that good stuff. Some chickens, even a cow, in this wild fantasy. It seems very satisfying.
And yes, Jersey corn is the best corn.
@Maz: Well, my lower back was out of sorts for no reason at all, the break in the heat wave is over, and I have no money coming in, plus the usual existential discontent. Other than that, peachy-keen! But hey, we're in it together at least.
@Theo: Happy birthday, young fella! Might catch up to me one day at this rate, ohohoho.

So I am told.
Well understand that at the moment I have only met Chie, Yikiko, and Marie.
I know everyone loves Chie, and while I completely understand why people like her (unlike say Makoto, who I simply dont understand the love for), she isn't really for me. She seems to have two speeds. Fast and Faster.
Yukiko is like a brown envelope stapled to a beige wall. She's the Makoto of this game. Completely bland. (But i literally have not even started her social link, so maybe my opinion will change)
Marie is an Atlas ass character. Or rather, she is that character atlas always seems to add to their games later. Character who is filled with a sense of wonderment at the world at large, but doesn't fully understand it. She is Rin from Catherine. She is Kasumi from Persona 5 Royal. She is (at a guess) Agis from Persona 3.
Thing is, I'm a sucker for that trope, so as of now I am leaning towards Marie.
But, you know, I have a loooooot of game to go.
Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
Ah. Yeah, you're very early in. There's some disgusting options, and then the girl I chose. But yeah, Marie is quite divisive, depending on how much you care for that sense of wonder. In general, the character arcs for P4 were superior to P5. Broader points about maturing into adulthood and sexuality and such. But P5 had far more style and variety. Liked them both a lot. Need to pay Royale still tho.
In Love Hina, Makoto was the 2nd best girl tho.

Well, you may as well say who. All their names are in the into anyway.
Marie also has the added benefit of being vaguely 'goth girl', and that visual has always been a guilty pleasure.
In as far as character arcs, well, that remains to be seen. As I said, 5 is going to be hard to beat.

Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
Soo... after getting stuck in Cyberpunk, as I predicted I would lol, I went back and done a Shantae-marathon... played and 100%'ed all the games avaiable on Steam (so all but the first one), except for the last one. Been a fan of the series for a while now, but playing them back-to-back really made me appreciate some things and like a lot less some others...
Shantae: Risky's Revenge - The "director's cut" a few extra polish and the fast travel added. This is the one that I'd say is the most "okay" of the whole series. Short and to the point, so to speak, good pixel-art, smooth controls even with a keyboard, not very big world, or stash to stuff to find, but just a fun game. My only minor gripe is that cicling through the dances when transforming gets a bit annoying, once you have all of them and need to switch between one and the other more often, but that is pretty much it;
Shantae and the Pirate's Curse - Bigger world overall, but split into various separate locations, rather than a bigger open world, but it works just fine. Letting Shantae mess with her archnemesis' arsenal for one game was a fun idea, and it's the only game in the series that rewards you for 100%ing it with an extra round in the final boss fight adn a whole different epilogue, REALLY enjoyed this one;
Shantae Half-Genie Hero - like the new artstyle for the series, but this is the game that is and feels the smallest... the levels are so quick and linear they were a dash move away (which you ironically get in the next game) from going full Megaman rather than Metroidvania. It also suffers a bit of "feature creep" being a Kickstarted game... backwhen they unlocked many stretch-goals that added a load of transformations for the main characters, and even alternate game modes that let you play as other characters... but not enough goals to flash out all that extra stuff, so alot of the transformations for Shantae get used only a handful of times and feel kind of unecessary, and the alternate modes where you play as Risky Boots or Shantae's best friends are just the same exact levels as the base game, just slightly edited to fit the different gameplays and with a flimsy excuse of a plot to have you repeat the run. Still, the different playstyles were fun to mess with.
Shantae and the Seven Sirens - probably the most Metroidvania-y game I've played with in ages, much to my delight. Seems like they noted and addressed the main gripes the previous game had, and went back to the one big open world game, with tons of stuff to find and a whole new set of transformations, although small in numbers and well utilized. The game also is set in a whole new location and adds a whole lot of new characters and story bits, while keeping the core cast around and useful. Bunch of fun bossfights too, but that's a standard for the series. Only big problem I've experienced might be the strangely long loading times you get when moving to a location from another, and the fact some of the animated cutscenes (of which there's a surprising amount of) were still slightly glitched. Other than that, easily my favorite game in the series. Sadly I didn't 100%'ed it because I've left an item in the one area you can only visit once, and I don't feel to starting over. Still... 84% of stuff found in my first playthrough, so not too shabby if I can say so myself...
Definately happy I've discovered this series backwhen, it's nice to have some well crafted games that just want to be fun and don't take themselves too damn seriously, especially compared to all the modern AAA games that try oh so hard to be "mature" and "cinematic". Get me more Squid Baron shenanigans any time of the day lol

My favorite AA studio and games in fact. Support them as much as I reasonably can. Even better, they've said nothing political that I'm aware of! Heh. But yeah, I largely agree with all your points. though RR was hard to get into having played the games in reverse. Clunkier, slower.
Really hope Seven Sirens did well, and is a portent of things to come. Properly large maps, more involved story, animations, it bodes really well. A comic series would be great too, heard that thrown around by the CEO.
