Also, Spinosaurus seem more and more likely to have been primarily acquatic, so it's not like it needed particularly powerful legs for on-land locomotion.

But we've known of the thing's existence for about a century and we have yet to find speciment that isn't just a random piece of the full skeleton, so current reconstructions may still turn out to be wrong.

Not to mention, one of the best Spino fossil finds ever got destroyed in the fires of WWII. Took decades before scientists were able to find more bones to help get a clearer picture of just what kind of beast this creature was beyond "large carnivorous dinosaur with a sail on its back". I had dino books from my childhood with depictions of it that didn't even have the crocodilian jaws; the artists made it look like an Allosaurus-like head.

"Units more responsive" alone is worth a patch. Let me tell you, when you're playing on Big Boy mode, and you have no time to pause or think, and a vital unit of infantry is _faffing around_ instead of moving their ass where I want them to be, it gets real frustrating. Or a unit gets bogged down in a melee while you're spamming for them to disengage, but a single model gets re-engaged and drags the entire unit back into it. Ahhhh.

Immortal Empires looking cool tho. I shudder to think what it'll do to the average PC, but that's entirely the point.

Do any of you care what kind of phone case you have? I traded in my old phone and I need a case for my new one. My old case had an image of the Anglerfish logo from the Girls Und Panzer anime. It was cute and I knew no one would know what it was. Now I'm looking at some great designs of characters I like, but I haven't made a decision in several days. I just want to get it right it means that much to me. Does anyone feel the same?

Yeah, loving the daily position reveals. I'll probably be on vacation when the DLC hits, but as soon as I come back, it's Imrik time!

I'm way more utilitarian with my cases. When I was briefly living in CA, I did get a nice wooden case, but when I was leaving Dave and Busters on the launch night of Bioshock Infinite, after several beers, and didn't notice the hidden stairs when you leave the bar area, tripped and launched my phone. Much like a crash helmet, broke the case, but saved the phone. After that, just got a heavy duty one. The one I'm using now has a screen to go over the screen, which is great.

Though yeah, personalizing it would be even better for sure.

His Mortal Empire start is one of those where you have to memorize the opening few dozen turns, it was nutty on Legendary. If you don't know memorize the Skaven AI script pattern, you're in for a bad time.

well here is some surprising news, some people have decided to start a shooting here in Denmark, in Copenhagen, no one is dead yet a few injured and a suspect have been arrested, but stuff like this never happens here.

edited: some people have been confirmed dead now.

You can literally thank 9/11 for that. Originally they were gonna do basically RE3 but with dinosaurs, but thought that doing a videogame set in an american town in ruins with giant flying monsters crashings through buildings would be in poor taste. So they just slapped some mutant dinosaurs on a spaceship instead.

of course, the Swedes did survive (learned that later after my edit), they were just among the people who where shot (but survived in their case)

Happy 4th to my fellow Americans, despite it. Funnily enough, no one seemed to be having parties, except some Mexican immigrants down the road. Even shot off fireworks last night, tonight, and probably the next few nights. Kinda nice that they're taking to our traditions better than us, at least in NJ. We have a complicated economic situation. Ended up celebrating by making some very unhealthy burgers, bacon, fried egg, would've buttered and toasted the buns but I was out of stove space, and of course, freedom fries. I never thought I'd miss the endless BBQs with total strangers and their kids from when I was growing up.

yeah, mental problems (apparently he is has a lot of mental disorders), he is locked up in psychological ward.

Fat loss update.
Last month I lost 10.4 lbs. (4,535kg)
The previous month was 13.4 (6.078kg)

With the decimal points I have lost nearly 24lbs in total, around 23.8, but I am rounding down so in reality it's 23lbs. (10.432kg)

The guy who shot up the parade in Chicago (there were several others, but this one is the most well-known) is apparently extremely mentally ill too. But he planned the attack for weeks, so despite all that, he'll be unable to argue any sort of insanity defense. Life in prison, presumably.

doesn't seem to be any planning here, he apparently was looking for someone according to a witness and then all of the sudden started shooting.

Diablo 2 remake was 40% off. D2 was one of the first gaming addictions I ever had, because my first PC was "poor at best." Enjoying it, observing the game design, comparing against the laser light show and NUMBERS of Diablo 3. When I saw the old Blizzard intro, then Blizzard north, made me feel things I thought were gone. Necro is still the best, clearly.

Has that old(er) school charm of clunky interactions. Such as potions. You need to use them pretty darn often if doing anything slightly difficult, or even just to keep up mana. You start with 4 slots, get 8 with your first belt, then 12, and finally 16 with the biggest belts. But you only see one row at a time, unless you toggle the full view, but that's not something you'd do during combat. So periodically you must stop, open inventory, shift+click a bunch of potions randomly smattered around your backpack to send them to the belt, then keep going. Unless you have an empty column, in which case you have to manually refill the column so it stacks right. There's no thematic purpose for any of this either, so it's just clunky, but charming, in a weird way.

You guys ever have days where you feel fine, then for no reason, you lose all energy? Like being sapped, instantly, and you have to lie down for a while, despite being well rested/fed/caffeinated.
