All those tweaks and rule additions have had quite the effect.
Dark Angels shot right to the top; heh, I wonder why, hmmmm? Mayhap their Primarch be returning?
Squats are tough and hardy as fuck, no shock there.
Custodes still doing great as always; gold and bold.
Orks doing way better; they want to avenge Old Bale Eye!
Most of Xenos and Chaos doing ok.
Mars doing a little better.
Necrons have seen better days.
Sisters of Battle dropped like a stone; ouch.
Tyranids took a massive hit; though Genestealers are #2, go figure.
Tzeentch making his boys squirm.

Lovely day out, around freezing, mix of rain and flurries. Perfect for Pokemon! Walked a few miles, stopped at the park with the best density of gyms and stops. Today was an elite raid day, meaning, a special Pokemon that takes 24 hours to prepare, then is active for 30 minutes, in-person only. Quite a few guys there, around 20, though only 5 or so were actually walking around, everyone else was in their SUVs. The Pokemon in question was Regidraco, who is _completely_ useless for PvE or PvP as of right now!

@magnus: I was going to offer to get you a physical US copy, or more ideally one of the other Europeans, and ship it to you, but it seems like there won't be physical copies, heh. Can you use a proxy to access the Epic Store from somewhere else? Though I'm sure a de-censorship patch wouldn't take long to spread around.

@Drag: Alright, second primarch back! On the heels of some massive losses! So, realistically, what's the best comeback possible here? Because as I understand it, The Rock is floating around space and about to get assaulted by We Always Win, which presumably will wake the Lion up, just like Gorrilafan, when it reaches his stasis pod or whatever.

As long as it is on the Epic story, I won't get it, anyway, so no worry. And who knows how the situation will be when it comes out on Steam? :mrgreen:

I don't think the Angels will lose the Rock, but I imagine they will be bloodied pretty hard over the course of the Arks of Omen event. The Lion's return will no doubt save them from extinction and give them hope for a tomorrow. His return will tackle the whole Luther/Fallen/Cypher issue, I assume. The Lion and Big Blue didn't see eye-to-eye on a lot of issues; so there will be a lot of interesting politicking. The High Lords will probably be pissed that a second Primarch is back, losing even more of their authority. The military could be divided, split between who to listen to. I could see the Lion spearheading a swift and brutal assault into the Imperium Nihilius against Guilly's wishes, as it could spread their forces too thin in his mind. Then there's the effect it will have on the Ecclesiarchy. His return also might get a few more Daemon Primarchs to come out and play. The Lion is a much better warrior than Big Blue, (he’s not nicknamed the Duelist for nothing) he's just as much of master strategist/tactician (he wrote his own military codex, though its not as well known as Big Blue's), and his special Primarch ability pretty much makes him untouchable against most Warp attacks, so he's the perfect asset to counter all this Chaos madness. Maybe he'll want daddy's sword, that could lead to conflict. He might not be so understanding when it comes to his brother's alliances with the Eldar, or the whole "divide the legions into chapters" thing, which happened after he fell. While Russ liked to call himself "The Emperor's Executioner", that was for when Big E wanted to make a public example out of someone as a warning to others, with some left alive to tell the story. When Big E wanted someone utterly annihilated, with no trace they ever even existed, he called on the Lion. And it was the Lion who went around blowing up the homeworlds of most of the Traitor legions.

Oh man, this might be it. This isn't your average Tyranid Hive Fleet. This might be one of those SUPER MEGA FLEETS arriving from beyond the galaxy. Or the Fleet that devoured Octarius swollen with all that ork biomass ready for their next meal and the Imperium is looking mighty delicious right now after their last big defeat.
Rumors said the Tyranids were going to be the main threat of 10th edition, (Necrons were the main threat of 9th, though they got overshadowed by Chaos towards the end), with new models and a box set right out of the gate. And I think the rumors said 10th was lunching this June or July.

Beautiful weather here in SoCal, more water now than we know what to do with. Longest drought is officially over and the local mountains STILL have a little snow left. Really beautiful walking around lately. In a little bit the flowers will come and hopefully 1000's of butterflies. That reminds me, I have to buy new windshield wipers.

Came up with a name for the album I'm working on. "Hover Mode". An 80's retro synthwave music album. I'm about halfway done with 7 tracks more to go. Been working on this for well over a year now. It's hard to write when I'm feeling lazy and I want to relax, especially after a day of shopping. Plus there's some personal mindset issues I've been struggling with, the whole "I've never been good enough, I'm not accomplished, I don't even know WHAT I'm doing, does all this work matter?" bs that usually goes through my head. Sigh, but I got to keep waking up and plugging along. After this album will be another, and then another. Hopefully one day I'll look up and see that I've accomplished something.

@Maz, I haven't been keeping up. How's the weight loss going? Good or bad news I want to hear!

Gained a little over christmas and kind of plateaued out.

What inspired the title? I'm picturing, based on that description, a hoverboard, more a skateboard without wheels, and having to flip switches on various boxes to play video games on old TVs.

Weirdly enough, I've been having those thoughts really badly lately. Though if it's any consolidation, you're far, far accomplished and respectable.

Nah, it's finally the year of the Dark Eldar to cut the Imperium in half and destroy a few human win conditions! Heh.

Aren't the Necrons being slowly remade into more a vaguely neutral not-ally, at least by 40k standards?

But yeah, no more scout fleets, a proper hive fleet would be really cool! Could get every faction in on it, at that scale.

Close! I'm having an artist draw a '80's futuristic' hover car. No wheels, angular on a wireframe horizon. If that's the best description I have.

Closing it on fully completing Yakuza 0. Finished the first completion list category, fully finishing the cabaret/real estate mini games. The Legend styles they reward are really cool, but aren't real well rounded enough to play with. The ability to very slowly build up the PC to godhood, if you want to grind money, is nice tho. Doing the phone club (This takes me back...) minigame in full was really obnoxious until I just started keeping track of which girl was making each call. Then I finished it out in half an hour, heh. For a game that's main content is minigames, the quality and fun vary super wildly. Next up I have these crappy Chinese dice games to win $X million dollars in, for example, after the great fun of shogi and mahjong.

Look cool as hell. Proper hatted lads, good roster, orc/gobbo chaff, and a really neat monster. Haven't watched everything yet, but heard they have very limited Chaos Dwarf units with an increasable cap, which is exactly how I'd design them.
