... the Dark Eldar homeworld is no more: the Gate of Khaine blown up and demons took it over, killing most of the Dark Eldar in the process. Three of the biggest Eldar Crafworlds are also crippled near the point of no return. The Orks are heading towards what's left of Cadia to fight some demons for shit and giggles, there's a Genestealers Cult hiding on Terra, and a new Eldar hero who can basically resurrect dead people at will, and what's left of the Eldar now basically has no choice but to work all togheter AND with the Imperium to ensure their new god is fully born, before they go extinct for good.

Much like Fall of Cadia, the whole plotline seems intriguing, but should not be cliffnoted and crammed into a small rulebook.

A Genestealer Cult on Terra has HUGE ramifications; a Tyranid hive fleet invading the imperial throneworld's solar system in the near future is probably incoming...

...Which would draw in the Necrons since the C'tan Void Dragon is still sleeping on Mars.

The orks are probably having a blast right now with so many enemies to fight.

Chaos feasts on all that delicious pandemonium with no Cadia to close the buffet early.

Well, GW confirmed SEVERAL times that there's no End-Times Scenario coming to 40k: in fact these books are more likely just being farted out so quickly because of the new edition of the game that should come either later this year, or early the next one. My guess is that they ARE gonna do a soft reboot, and that is why thei're shaking up the status quo so fast and so massively, but that they're not going to destroy the whole universe and start anew.

Also apparently the Sisters of Battle are soon gonna get a full army and there will be a new xeno race coming with the new edition. My guess is that they're gonna unite the Eldar into one faction, possibly named Eldari since that's what they called themselved before the whole Slaneesh-pocalypse and because it'd be easier to trademark, and introduce a new faction using the space left vacant by the Dark Eldar.

TBH that sounds like something that should be mandatory.

Mind you that opens up the doors of other underlying problems in the US, Education, Gun Reform, Trust Issues, Race relations, etc.

But having cops that are actually intelligent and trained in their field would be a good start.
As much as living in my country has made me more trusting of my police force, if I were living in America I would honestly find it remiss that I would be exempt from the Second Amendment as I hear the same cops which are armed don't do nearly enough training/practice with it to be trustworthy, on top of all the other misgivings.

It's not about comparing them to other jobs, it's about comparing the weight of their own job to the rewards they should get.

Now obviously this is assuming the officer in question is as good as we'd expect an officer to be. If they meet that standard then they honestly will be doing their job to the utmost of their ability. And their job is a dangerous one.
