So far the most difficult thing I'm doing is trying to 'sneak' from one hiding spot to another without jumping in front of an enemy, which I've done half a dozen times or so today. And using up all my SP!
I'm liking the four of us so far (skull, mona, panther and me) but I guess it'll get a little ME2 later and I'll have to shuffle a larger crowd?
Having trouble beating a boss. I'm going to get work from the Dr. so I can get better revive items since Panther and Mona keep on getting killed.
edit: Thanks for the heads up about starting the dungeon early, I'm been working it for four days so far.
Oh right, so whats going on there is that the higher your bond is with a given confidant, the more bonus experience you will get for a persona during a fusion.
That is to say, you fuse a succubus at level 9 or so, but if you have the moon confidant at maximum, it will instantly level up to level 15 or so. There is no reason not to do a fusion though, especially early game.
A good way to solve the SP problem is to but the drinks from the vending machines. The one by the bathhouse sells them for cheap, and early game that will be a big help keeping your SP up.
Later game you want to get the Doctor Confidant as high as possible because she sells the SP Adhesives that give you free SP every turn. It also helps to help Sojiro once his confidant unlocks because you'll be allowed to spend time making Coffee, which provides a great SP building item.
This gets even better when the "maid" shows up because you can eventually pay her to make coffee for you, so you still get the item without losing time. She gives you extra time in general, and very well could be the most important Confidant.
And yeah you get a bigger party as the game goes on. There are 8 total party members. I love all of them.
As far as the dungeons go, the first dungeon is, in my opinion, the hardest one. There are some late game ones that have moments, but this game kind of throws you into the deep end, and you either drown or learn to swim.
Anyway I'm glad this game is doing something for you. Its got some really great stuff in it. Really fucking dark stuff too. Look up some of the bad ends once you finish. There's a particularly
fucked up one for running out of time for the third dungeon.
