"First ever black hole image released: Astronomers have taken the first ever image of a black hole, which is located in a distant galaxy. It measures 40 billion km across - three million times the size of the Earth - and has been described by scientists as "a monster". The light is brighter than all the billions of other stars in the galaxy combined - which is why it can be seen at such distance from Earth. The edge of the dark circle at the centre is the point at which the gas enters the black hole, which is an object that has such a large gravitational pull, not even light can escape. The image matches what theoretical physicists and indeed, Hollywood directors, imagined black holes would look like, according to Dr Ziri Younsi, of University College London - who is part of the collaboration. "Although they are relatively simple objects, black holes raise some of the most complex questions about the nature of space and time, and ultimately of our existence," he said. "It is remarkable that the image we observe is so similar to that which we obtain from our theoretical calculations. So far, it looks like Einstein is correct once again." But having the first image will enable researchers to learn more about these mysterious objects. They will be keen to look out for ways in which the black hole departs from what's expected in physics. No-one really knows how the bright ring around the hole is created. Even more intriguing is the question of what happens when an object falls into a black hole."

If everyone is upset, then it's probably fair. Good rule of compromise, if someone's happy, the other side fucked up. Still, seems like the Imperium does win in the novels, more or less, but gets hosed in the events so Kay-oss can advance the plot. But the aliens are so much more interesting, dammit. Tyranids are a bigger threat! Necrons too! The maggot-men still kicked from the big, nasty Xenocide during the Great Crusader could come back and trounce everyone even! Instead, more "tactical victories."

I meant more the pledge goals as DLC later on down the line as being a maybe.
I'd have bought a decent pledge goal reward one if I had the cash to spare right now.
Otherwise later DLC is my only hope for somethings I was wanting to get. But I think it's a long shot.

One of the highest taxed states in the union. Property tax is nutty. Got a gasoline tax a few years back, they're talk about the third increase soon, because even after stealing so much money from the citizens, NJ can't seem to actually maintain their infrastructure. Now a water main blows right outside the house. Real fun spending a day not able to wash dishes, the body, or use the toilets. At least until I figured out I could fill a bucket with water from the basement pump, what with the unending gush of water having pretty well flood the immediate area. Our neighbors yard is a swamp. So I can use the toilet at least, if I spend a good few minutes scooping up dirt water to fill the tank.

It's not so much that its worth that much, as much as Amazon customers are the biggest marks imaginable.

I sold a Rock Band drum set a few years back for $120. This was after several used game stores told me I'd have to pay THEM to take it off my hands.

Amazon does take a big cut though. I'll only get about $40.

Well because those who bought it might feel that their pledge is a "once in a lifetime purchase" type of thing and anyone who could get what they paid for to get not only potentially early but also with extra bells an whistles on might feel their purchases are now in vain, or were in vain now they see they could potentially get them later/cheaper.

This is obviously outside the "I want to support these guys" realm of thought and more in the "I want to buy as much as I can" realm of thought.
