Now two people are getting tested for the china virus on a smaller island in Sweden.
test results not out yet, but it makes me nervous.
edit:correction I was wrong about the country (Denmark before Sweden), but it's right on the border to us.

3 people in France, none worrying. If you are healthy - and have a decent healthcare system - it does not seem particularly dangerous.

Dude. You live in a developed country, and have socialized medicine.
You'll be fine.

Well, that didn't stop the previous outbreaks that much and this one is spreading rather fast.

"Metro Exodus‘s second major story downloadable content, “Sam’s Story,” will launch across all available platforms on February 11, publisher Deep Silver and developer 4A Games announced. It can be purchased via the Expansion Pass or individually. Here is an overview of the downloadable content, via Deep Silver:
Sam’s Story follows former U.S. Marine Sam, a Spartan Ranger who has worked under Colonel Miller since the nuclear war devastated Moscow, and followed Artyom in search of a world outside of the Metro. Sam had long dreamed of returning to his homeland, and perhaps even finding his father alive. The prospect seemed impossible in the darkened tunnels of the Metro, but when the Spartans discovered that Moscow was not the only city left alive after the war, holding out hope didn’t feel so foolish anymore.
Sam, determined to find a way back to the U.S.A., departed from the Aurora to make his way through Vladivostok’s tsunami ravaged harbors, ruined industrial buildings, and crumbling residential districts. However, to complete his journey, Sam will discover that he needs every tactic he has learned so far to survive, as his surroundings prove to be far trickier than expected.
In this expansive “sandbox survival” level, players will experience another gripping story line featuring new characters, weapons, and mutant variants, in a huge, non-linear environment that offers hours of gameplay."

Nice to see team attacks tho, I've enjoyed the concept since fucking Chrono Trigger (Which I got during the Lunar Sale!).
Finished Apollo Justice again. Playing it off the back of the original 3 games makes it seem worse than I recall. He's fine as a character, Trucy too, and Hobo Phoenix, but everyone seems so much more miserable and cynical about life, that it brings down the mood. Which would be fine, if you were a righteous young defense attorney, the world stacked against you, righting wrongs and finding THE TRUTH...but the prosecutor is basically your friend, who mocks you, and even holds your hand to get you through the trials, even at the end. Like a more condescending Edgeworth. Granted, his character and sprites are cool tho. The plot holes and logical leaps were pretty bad at times, and while the games always had their issues with those, this one had a point in the third case where I presented 4 or 5 different pieces of evidence which all proved the fucking point I was being queried on, but the actual answer was an item that indirectly did it. The gimmick of finding tiny animations during their testimony to "prove" their lies was alright, sometimes it was neat, others it was obtuse. The inability to skip text, however, was unforgivable.

Y'know, because I am just so fascinated with the clamour of it all, watching all this Wuhan Coronavirus stuff makes me realise I have never actually heard this much spoken Mandarin.
This is a step-stone into me hearing more than I ever would have heard before of people speaking an entirely different language than mine.
Yeah, I have Japanese because of the very few anime I have watched but not normal Chinese people speaking Mandarin.
It's slightly surreal.

Almost as if Activision wasn't better a partner than EA.
Meanwhile AOE2 seems to be trending super hard since the Definitive Edition was launched.

No one claims it is.
But Blizzard was at least good for while despite the partnership in beginning, but well according to rumors the new leader of Blizzard are of Activision and not Blizzard themselves so change of leadership is most likely to blame.
This remind me of day of dragons, which isn't a good sign.

It's a little silly how many e-personalities make their content in their bedrooms. Are green screens that expensive?

Its more that its harder than you think to make the effect look good. You need a very specific shade of green. specific lighting, and so forth.

I don't even mean a glamorous production so much as not having your bed and stuff visible. If I were doing that for a living, I'd at least set up an aheago blanket around some poles behind me.

Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
I am nearing the end of The Witcher 3, done the main story, Hearts of Stone, and I'm near something that seems to be Blood and Wine's final mission (I want to clean my objective list before I start it).
What a fantastic game that is. I did not understand why everyone was so excited about Cyberpunk 2077, but now that I've enjoyed CDPR's masterpiece, I get it: if it's half as well written as TW3 it will blow all other recent story-based games out of the water.
The only issue I have is that the combat system seems mundane compared to the exquisite writing, superlative vocal cast, fantastic staging, gorgeous worldbuilding, and the attention given to even the smallest quests. The only recent experience that came close to that quality was the Shadowbringers add-on for Final Fantasy XIV.
I also don't regret taking my time and waiting until I'm done with the books before starting it, it feels so much more rewarding to have a chance to meet that fabulous cast. It feels especially great to enjoy it after the fantasy disaster that was Game of Thrones' season 8. Makes you wonder what TW3's lead writer could have done with that show. There's more subtelty and nuance in the Bloody Baron than in the last two GoT seasons.
Anyway.
I would say my personal character top 5 outside of the holy trinity of Geralt, Ciri and Yen would be something like 1-Dijkstra 2-O'Dimm 3-Shani 4-Bloody Baron and 5-Anna Henrietta.

That...is a very good point, actually.
Started Bluuudborne. Not too hard, given my Souls experience. Really does feel like a rough inbetween of DS and Sekiro tho. Got to some ruined church thingy with a Lords vessel in it, then a giant eldritch thing grabbed and killed me, then the game froze. So I got that going for me.

So the busses transporting the Wuhan UK evacuees to the RAF base in the UK were under the brand/company Horseman.
There were four of them.
Four Horsemen.
I bet that is gonna make some conspiritards day!

I put on the Super Bowl, because I spent a good chunk of my afternoon watching its superior version (that would be rugby) so why not continue while cleaning my flat.
There is so much pomp and circumstance. And two anthems! For a game between two teams from the same country too.

You have to understand, this is another chapter in the eternal saga of Americans beating the shit out of other Americans to see which one is the better American. After this we're going to do the same thing in Basketball, then Baseball, then NASCAR (an autoracing association that began with people building cars fast enough to outrun Treasury agents), then back to Football again. It's part of the national mythology at this point.

Nope, only got a PS4 just recently. I know of it, seen the speedruns, lore videos, all that. Never actually played it.
Though today I faffed around on my Vita, playing Harvest Moon: Back to Nature, which if slightly updated for the times, would still be a damn solid game. Was going to go to a bar and watch the game, but I don't give a shit about the Chiefs or 49ers, and I have work tomorrow, so that went out the window. Instead rested my knees with my lovely lifting sleeves and had Chinese.
