Yep, caster build still isn't viable in DS3. At least by Irthyll. Works moderately well for PVE if you know how to make a simple build, but as soon as you run up against some of the hyper aggressive, or an enemy with a resistance to what you're slinging, all of a sudden those stats you didn't put into survival, and the rings you put into spell damage and cast speed, bite you real hard. PVP, the average level of skill a player now is so high, that I'm only actually doing damage by free aiming or roll catching. Not sure if the DLC added new, better spells. I'm trying to play a hex build, albeit there are so few usable hexes at this point, that I'm alternating between pyro and mage depending on what my best spells are at the time. But the consequence of having to pump Int, Faith, Attunement, plus carrying Ashen Estus, plus dedicating all the ring slots to casting, really stings. Whereas, I've invaded into guys using lucernes and normal swords, doing my healthbar in 3-5 hits.

Point being, DS2 did game systems so much better it's amazing.

Casting in DS3 is borderline impossible. You can only really do it by basically using invisibility, the slumbering dragon ring, and pestilent mist for a LARGE portion of the game until you get Logans scroll.

DS2 is the better game. Hands down. The only reason that game is remembered with as much animosity as it is, is because it later came out that Miyazaki didn't spend as much time on it personally.

there is always a change it can, lack of better word since I'm tired, upgrade itself and it did also originate in China which isn't a country we should be calling truthful when it comes to information and the thing is deadly only to the sick and old so far.

Still being cautious isn't bad idea at least until professional have all the data to make vaccine or at least something that can take the symptoms away from the people the virus can kill.

My current issue is that I paid for an Airbnb and I didn't buy the full refund option. PLUS...because of my sky miles I only paid $5 for my flight ticket up there so I'm down $300 for the room and don't know if I'll get my miles back. So I'm wrestling with the thought of should I cancel the flight and room, get $69 back plus $5 or actually stay up in San Francisco for 4 nights? I just need to buy another plane ticket back, which shouldn't be more than the original ticket up. I don't really have the funds right now to stay in an expensive city for 4 days where I was originally planning on being in convention panels all day long.

No one knows the to that answer yet, and anyone who does is lying. My advisor seems to think it will be a few weeks more of shaky markets before things stabilize. But he would also be the first to say that it all depends on the news.

As soon as there is good news about the corona virus, you will assuredly see an uptick, but no one knows how much that will be, or when, or for how long. Hopefully people will stop panicking soon.

So i decided to buy anther ticket for $5 for the ride back that night and am making it a day trip to San Francisco. Enough time to see one or two things (fog pending) and then head back.

Ooph. Almost the time of year when we lose an hour. On the plus side, Persona 5 Royal at the end of the month. And spring is peeking through, today was positively balmy. Was a limp winter, only had to shovel twice, barely any snow. Funnily enough, as a kid, I was always disappointed when winter failed to deliver much snow.
