I enjoyed Makoto more outside the Metaverse. The Queen gimmick didn't work for me. But her personality of being the stereotype, then getting dumped on for "being useless," over and over, until she snaps and gets a dorky sort of edge. Didn't get to finish her social link tho, because of that damn stat gate for the fake date.

Speaking of which:
I have officially hit the point in which, at least in the base game, you can no longer do social links.
For anyone wondering how much extra time you have in Royal vs the base game to do so, here is a comparison.
First playthrough of the base game I managed to complete 11 out of 21 confidants, whilst maxing out all my social stats.
First playthrough of Royal I managed to get 20 out of 23 with maxed out social stats. Now some of that is just knowing how to optimize a bit better, but you definitely get more time to do stuff.
Only ones I couldn't finish in time were Nerdlinger (Mishima), Con-artist (Fortune Teller), and Gamer Kid.

Dunno which thread to ask this in but, one of you guys wouldn't happen to have a decent res image of the Mass Effect Galaxy from a top-down view would you?
Preferably ME3 era to have all the locations on it.

Is that the original point of no return, or the extended one with the extra semester they added?
I fucked up by not doing the Sun until he was nearly gone, didn't know the fortune teller was a link, and largely being stat-blocked or fucking up dialogue prompts so I had to waste a time block building up friendship musical notes.

Yes. I am referring to the original point of no return.
I am now a little ways into the new stuff and you actually do get a tad more time. I might be able to at least get Nerdlinger to maximum.
Sun is less vital than he used to be, but he is still super useful. Kawakami is actually far far less useful vital.
Either way you get FAR more time than you used to get.
Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
I've found myself with a lot of time on my hands, so I've been playing a lot of new video games lately. I've already explained my love for Doom Eternal.
Animal Crossing has been a daily habit, too. It's my first time playing the series, and I can completely understand the appeal.
Resident Evil 3 was a short, but wild ride.
I just started Final Fantasy VII. I understand that Squeenix has taken a lot of liberties with the game, mechanically, and story-wise, and many people are unhappy with some changes. I've never played the original, so I have no emotional attachment to it, this is all fairly fresh to me.

Uh, so Jump Force isn't dead, there's in fact a second batch of DlC characters coming, and a Deluxe Edition for the Switch that'll inlcude everything released for that game so far. I guess the sheer popularity of the characters involved must have made them more money than the bad reviews might have lead to believe. And thei're not adding more ninjas and space monkeys either.

I knew I was forgetting something lol Sorry for the late reply.
So, here's a few indie mini makers I've tried myself:
Kromlech/Bits of War
As the name implies, these guys mostly make bits and terrain pieces, but they do have a bunch of vehicles, monsters and a whole bunch of Orks minis. Tried some of their terrain bits, and they're of very good quality;
Antedeluvian Miniatures
Thes guys have a bunch of different ranges, I've discovered them for their old-timey dinosaur minis (duh!) but they also have a bunch of stuff based on fantasy and sci-fi movies and illustrations. They have a bunch of fun space mercenary minis, and stuff inspired by Ray Harryhausen movies, like Gwangi and the Kraken from Wrath of Titans. They cast the small minis in metal, and the bigger ones in a mix of metal and resin;
Scibor Miniatures
Here's where I bought my huge Chtulhu resin mini. They almost do unofficial Warhammer stuff, both fantasy and 40k, but they have some cool monsters and creatures too. Not really sure about sub-assembly, my big monster was of course not shipped in one piece, but I wouldn't know about smaller minis;
Raging Heroes
Haven't bought anything from this one, but I keep earing good things about them. They make a lot of female minis, they have a range of Dark Eldar and Sisters of Battle equivalents among the other things, but also a bunch of cool vehicles and creatures. They cast in resin, and from what I've seen assembly is required even with most smaller pieces, so if you work in sub-assemblies better, these should do.
Hope you find at least one or two things that tickle your interest!

Well they have cheap labor (which includes slave labor which everyone ignores) and lots of money which is why companies and most politicians overlook it, because cash is king for some people.
Not going to say anymore or else we have to go to the political thread.

And TBH I'd forgotten you'd offered and even though we've just been reminded of it I am not worried in the slightest of having been forgotten.

Make sure to have some greenstuff and something fine-tipped for sculpting it, if you go for one of the bigger kits. Resin and metal casts always tend to have some ugly seams or gaps, compared to injection-molded plastic stuff.

Ha! That sounds amazing! I just started that game a few months ago. I maybe find myself 8 hours a week to play so I'm not too developed, but I kind of know my way around exploring, trading and minor combat. Would we be able to meet up? I always play in open game.

I kind of liked the bland, which is why I also really liked Hifumi. Though the Doc was my wildcard.
I found it hard to consider a love interest that was not a character I partied with though.
How much time do you have after Haru shows to get to know her properly, without solely focusing on her and excluding everyone else? I feel like she came in right before the game started to end.

How does RE3make hold up compared to RE2make in terms of content?
I would think FF7 is quite enjoyable even if you are a fan, though perhaps not a purist fan. If (when) they remake Mass Effect, if they removed Tali and all quarian NPCs to streamline the Geth story, I would be rather frustrated. But in the case of FF7, it's not quite the same. For a new player, it's probably highly enjoyable, really.

Well, because you have so much more time now in general, you can pretty much dedicate a whole lot of time to her anyway.
Plus you get an additional month (so far...) after the main game ends to do stuff.

Yeah if we're ever in the same area and I'm in open.
I usually play on a private server as TBH the open play is kinda cancer in the bubble.
Right now I am in DEEEEEEP SPACE!
The main issue I am finding right now is Mass Effect put some things in different places to Elite. And I think the ME map has more on the Galactic arms than Elite's map.
The Perseus veil is basically off the map if my reading is right.

It's about as long as RE2's A route, but with far less puzzles, and far more enemies. The game is very direct, and the only hub-like area is the streets of Raccoon City, which hardly compares to RPD. The game has a much higher emphasis on the action, and they don't hesitate to remind you that there is a big man obsessed with stars for some reason tailing you from start to finish.
A lot of people will say that RE3 is an inferior game to RE2, and I can't argue with the reasons, yet I still sank nearly thirty hours into it and I actually did 100% it in under a week, which I can't say the same about RE2. I think I might even say I enjoyed 3 more than 2, because of its emphasis on action it feels so much tighter and fluid when you bob and weave between zombies, and monsters, and more. I just went back and started another run of 2, and by design it is a slow-paced game, but I miss the non-stop rush of RE3.
If you like Resident Evil, I recommend this remake. The question is whether or not you want to pay full-price for a six hour game.
Regarding FFVII, I'm not that far into the story, but I am already beginning to see why it was so well liked. It's aggressively 'japanese', but there is a charm to it that I rarely choose to experience. It reminds me a bit of how I felt about Kingdom Hearts 3 when I picked it up, then being the only KH game I have ever played. The characters are very fun, the music is great, and a lot of the environments are gorgeous. My only critique so far is that it's extremely cutscene heavy. Not quite like a Kojima game, but I remember making a similar critique about Doom Eternal, which in hindsight was far more sparing in comparison and more to the point.

I finally beat persona 5 Royal last night. Or more accurately, I finally beat it at 10am this morning before sleeping until sundown.
It is heads and shoulders the better than the original. The new content is all very good. It manages to raise the stakes to a final degree in a way that makes sense. It adds more time with your love interest.
However I will say that I didnt like the new ending as much as the old one. Its not THAT different, but it does make some implications that i found a little bitter sweet. Nothing so stupid as 'It was all a dream', but...
Anyway. I hit the new mission at around 160 hours. I finished the game at about 185. So its a good 25 hours in game.
