The way you describe it, it's as true to RE3 as it should be. Though I'll wait for the sales then. RE2make was a novelty, so it was worth it. Rumor is they're bringing in the big guns for an RE4 remake now, on the backs of these successful ones, and RE8. I hope they retain the small, personal scale that RE7 did again, it was a fucking breath of fresh air after the world ending super catastrophes.

Once mine are in, Royal's top of the list. I'm in no rush for FF7 or RE3make, and honestly, I'm having fun playing old games, while exercising/drawing/writing every now and then.
