Doing an Injustice 3 based on Blackest Night sounds like a very good idea. Brainiac-Superman vs the undead Justice League members he killed off himself... it'd be about time he gets some retribution. And having the members of the Justice League Dark in the roster would be very fun too. Doctor Manhattan as a playable character... that's where I start to have my doubts.

2 more Kombat Packs and a definitive edition for MK11 sounds plausible, and Ash Williams have been already konfirmed by copyright blurbs, so that adds credit to the rumor. Just make sure Mileena's in one of them, and that they don't retcon her whole story like with Sindel...

Sound weird to do Battle for the Cowl game that is a reboot and not a sequel of the Batman Arkham games... but WB isn't famous for always taking the best decisions. Plus as the video points out they might be looking into making an online-based title to compete with the Avengers game... tho why not do directly the Justice League instead of the Bat-Family, if you're rebooting anyway?

I like that Injustice 3 idea. That could work really well both for a story mode and as a means for some neat undead alt skins for the cast of characters.

The MK11 stuff sounds reasonable, and consistent with earlier rumors and hints.

A Bat-family focused game could be really cool if its handled right, especially if they remembered to include Cassandra Cain and did her justice. But I'd have to see some gameplay and story beats before I get enthusiastic.

Indeed. When Catachans are involved, you're in for the good shit.

If we're including all the Primarchs, not just the ones in this bracket, then yeah. Magnus going all-out, at 100%, with the intent to kill, is miles beyond the other feats pulled off by his brothers, even before becoming a Daemon and going full Tzeentch. Only the Emperor or Horus in full Avatar of all four Chaos Gods mode would be a mightier opponent. Putting aside the sorcery and psychic abilities though, its a much more contested game when it comes down to the physical. Sanguinius may lose to Russ on the tabletop according to this, but in the lore I'd give it to Sanguinius all the way, even if we took away Sangy's ability to see the future in mid-battle to be "fair".

Spinosaurus keeps getting weirder

Okay, this is cool... new fossil findings apparently show that Spinosaurus has a huge tail-fluke as well as his iconic sail/finn thing, and that it was indeed not just capable of swimming, but predominantly acquatic. Hope in the future we get to see a proper swamp moster spino in a movie or in a series (oh my... imagine it in Primal!) instead of the perpetrating the JPIII Spino design.

Plus they have done Ancient Greece and Ancient Egypt in their last two episodes, so they are rounding up the famous mythologies in the Western world.

One of the benefits of PC gaming is that it eliminates multiple function keys, correct? Like how in ME2 and 3 on the Xbox the cover button was the same as the Shepard jumps out and gets shot by the enemy button. Does that mean the play through is essentially flawless, as in the character does what you specifically tell it to do and nothing else?

Maz, do you have a preference to which platform was better? I assume everyone first played ME on Xbox, or PS...3?

I just happened on a history video that talked about how revenge practices weakened the Merovingian dynasty in France (the one that ruled from the Vth to the VIIIth century).

Among the characters, one queen is just so ridiculously evil that she sounds straight out of a medfan book. So, Queen Fredegund of Neustria (today's North of France plus part of Belgium, and later extended to what became Normandy and Brittany).
She:
- was born in a commoner family
- became a handmaiden to Queen Audevere's of Neustria
- managed to get the queen repudiated by her husband Chilperic - she gave her the idea to become her own son's godmother, except Church does not allow Godmothers to sleep with the father of the child (568)
- very likely strangled Chilperic's second wife, Galswintha, a Wisigoth princess - and the sister of queen Brunhilda of the neighboring Austrasia kingdom (569)
- married Chilperic and became his third wife (569)
- got two of her slaves to assassinate king Sigebert of Austrasia (Brunhilda's husband) (575)
- got Chilperic's eldest son, Clovis, killed (577)
- had her men rape Chilperic's eldest daughter, Basine, because that dishonor means she would lose all her inheritance (577)
- got another son of Chilperic, Merovee, assassinated, with bonus points since A/she disguised it as suicide and B/he was a monk (although he was forced to become a monk, after he fell in love with the aforementioned then-locked up Queen Brunhilda, and helped her escape back to Austrasia-
- got Chilperic's first wife Audevere killed (580)
- may or may not have had her husband King Chilperic assassinated (584) - his murder was not elucidated (and the dude was a cunt so he had enemies), but it is notable that he died right after Fredegund finally got a son, Clotaire, who survived for more than few months
- after that, she was forced to ask for the protection of Gontran, Chilperic's brother and the King of Burgundy (another Frank kingdom), and since Gontran seemed to have caught a clue, he got her locked up in Rouen (584) with an Abbot, Pretexta, to watch over her
- had Pretexta stabbed during Sunday's mass, because fuck subtelty (584)
- tried to have Gontran assassinated by guys disguising as diplomats (584)
- tried to kill her own daughter Rigund by slamming her head inside a chest (589)
- and finally, died of natural causes, aged roughly 54 (597)

Then, her son Clotaire had to face Brunhilda's two grandsons Tibert and Thierry, one ruling Austrasia, the other Burgundy. They started by teaming up against him, but eventually he managed to turn them against each other, with Thierry defeating Tibert and having him executed along with his sons. Then Thierry died, and eventually Clotaire managed through treason to conquer Austrasia and Burgundy, executing all possible heirs, and having Brunhilda tortured (she even had to make a walk of shame naked, if that reminds you something - she was over 60). She got executed by having her hair and one leg tied to a horse's tail, before having the horse starting to gallop.

So basically, the Lannisters were wussies.

I've played it on PC before on Steam and never had this issue with weaker systems So, I am confused.

I played ME2 and 3 on consoles first and when I got a PC that could run them I played on PC.
IIRC the PC versions suffer from the same problem of one button syndrome.

But, honestly I do prefer the PC versions as if needs be I can mod it if I wanted/was able to.

Shogun 2 is/was free to own on Steam. Put a lot of time into that one, even did the MP, which I rarely do in any game.

Gave it a spin, for nostalgia's sake. Still a damn solid game. But the technical issues are painful, unforgivable even, with hindsight. Set up a bridge battle, dropped to about 5 FPS, because the game simply wasn't able to deal with thousands of dead men in a tiny area.

If anyone remembers the Space Wolf guys I did a while back you may also remember I thought of trying to crowd them all onto a single base.
So, yeah, no.
I made my own larger base. But then, I needed more on it.

Sadly I am not good enough to make my own trees, bushes, buildings, etc. But I do have grasses, rocks and dirt.
So, I made something a little larger but now say I needed more men. But I have no more Space Wolf bits ready to go, so, fuck it, they're now fighting something.
I had some Chaos bits and I quickly painted them up and made a little fight scene.




Glue still gets away from me, but IMO superglue is the only glue that sticks things down well enough.
Normal PVA's just don't cut it, or take way too long to dry, and are susceptible to peeling off.

The base rim, despite being matt black still seems to catch the light to show up imperfections.
But I barely sanded the varnish off underneath before priming so it might be that.
In any case, it's good to try something more challenging.

Nails. Get some thin nails and a handsaw, and get rid of the flat top (and/or to make it the right lenght), and you basically have a pin. As for keeping it in place, just use superglue. Did that with the Chutulu model and worked like a charm. Alluminum wire cut the right lentgh should work too.
Of course if you don't have anything of the sort, the problem stays the same, but... yeah.

I would imagine pushing clumps down one at a time would be a terrible mess. Or, thinking about it, do you do it spot by spot, putting a dab of glue then shaking on the grass, removing the excess then dabbing another spot and building it up?
