That's more or less my impression too. Would love a MK9 remaster, but I'm not holding my breath. One or two extra kombat packs tho? I think thei're a safe bet.

I can see it happening. No one expected the MK reboot trilogy story to be as good as it was. It was incredibly popular. It would be nice to have a consistent look to the whole thing. Not to mention Voice acting. Maybe they'd even have to replace Rhonda Lousy as Sonya.

I will say that it would make sense. That game is already a decade old, and while good at the time it almost looks like one of the old PS2 era games when put near X and 11, and the bad dubbing and sound quality doesn't do the story mode any favor. There are good reasons to remaster it, especially since all it really needs improving is the audio and visuals, not much needs changing in terms on gameplay and koding, I still enjoy doing a few rounds in MK9 now and then.

The heat broke for the moment. Sweet relief. I get into a bad mood if I'm hot and sweaty for no reason.

Yeah, Persona 4 Golden was up on Steam, available, before the conference started. Which was cute. But I'm glad. Seems the Japs are more and more getting into porting their games to PC, after the very shaky, but successful, first steps with the Souls games. And it _has_ been an awfully long time since I romanced Naoto into acceptance of her womanhood.

Seems like the next "important" alternate E3 stream is EA on the 18th. About time for Bioware to announce they're a year or two out from finishing a project.

Man I'm so done with that shit.

I did the math and i imagine its at least 3 years to Dragon Age, and closer to 10 for Mass Effect. I'll be fuckin 40 when the next Mass Effect comes out. Assuming Bioware is still around for either of those projects at all.

I just cant bring myself to care at that point.

I plan on keep gaming for as long as I can, it's a hobby I enjoy, I don't give a shit if people have a problem with it (especially since most folks at this points waste hours of their freetime in b.s. appgames on their phones anyway) and there's so much stuff I'd like to play already out that if I just stuck to what I have in my Steam library and don't buy anything else, I'd probably have enough to last me for several years.

What I AM getting tired of is the whole hype machine shtick. Sure I'll watch big presentations, since there's more chances something I might be interested in could be shown in them, but I'm done pretending this or that game is going ot be the best thing eeevaaah because of a few fancy trailers and "vertical slices of gameplay" shown at events.

As for BW, all I need and want from them is to know wheter or not there IS a ME trilogy remaster in the cards, and if and how they plan on improving upon the originals. Other thant that, I don't much trust their abilities of making good story-driven games anymore. Maybe focusing on trying to improve Anthem would be the better plan for them, but even that is definately not gonna keep them around for "many years to come".

I'm imagining the space maps in Battlefront 2, but with less players, similar controls and lots and lots of purchasable skins and shit.
Maybe with some card system thrown in.

well the game cost around 40 euroes on steam at the moment and that is to much for a multiplayer game with nothing but flying and shooting each other.

Feel like it's should cost 30 or 20 euroes at least that way, it would be more likley for people to actually buy it.

Neither do I. That wasn't my point.

My point was that I am not waiting to play a new Mass Effect my 4th decade of life, after having been strung along the entirety of my 3rd decade, and most of my 2nd.
