Movie news of the week:
WB's HBO Max move with their 2021 film slate without consulting anybody have pissed off a ton people in the industry; from directors, actors, producers, studios, the CCA, the DGA, and the theater chains, among others. Some theaters are even reportedly considering slashing ticket prices for WB films to as low as $3 so WB will get almost nothing back.
There's a rumor going around suggesting that if Legendary and WB can't work out their issues soon, Legendary will quit their partnership with them and go to Paramount Pictures, which would have big ramifications for their franchises like Dune and the Monsterverse.
