-Onslaught is now poised to enslave or kill almost every mutant and take command of both Krakoa Island and Mars/Arrako

Just watched the new Mortal Kombat animated movie. It's fine. Being around 70 minutes long it manages to cramp a surprising lot of stuff and characters in itself in a way that isn't too messed-up. The artstyle is still a bit wonky, but overall I have enjoyed it.

Now this is a retcon that pisses me off: Mephisto is behind Norman Osborn building a successful business empire and creating the Green Goblin formula. Osborn made a deal to make these accomplishments possible by selling the soul of his son. So every evil thing Norman's done since over the years was indirectly caused by Mephisto. Mephisto is partially responsible for the death of Gwen Stacy, the Clone Saga, Dark Reign, everything Norman's fingers have ever touched. Fucking hell. Now Mephisto is like the Reverse Flash, "Remember that time when something bad happened to you, Spider-Man? It was me, Peter! It was MEEEEEEEEE!" What's next, Mephisto is the one who killed Uncle Ben? Not to mention how this cheapens Norman as a character and as one of Peter's top villains.
