Doom carried a gun way back in the day, (its even part of his moveset in the old Marvel vs Capcom games) and every once and in a while some writer or artist brings it back, even though with all the tech and magic at his disposal he really doesn't need it. It's not a regular firearm though, it shoots various kinds of energy designed to take down metahumans/aliens/robots/extraplanar beings depending on the model. You know, comic book science. :lol:

Death Metal fucked up the DC multiverse/metaverse/omniverse in terms of continuity and timelines, and backlash from within their own ranks and the fans caused them to throw out their 5G plans before they ever got off the ground and recycling it into Future State, so what's DC's next move? The rumors were right. Can't say I'm surprised. They bungled their handling of GI Joe, and they've wasted the potential of Transformers, save their Beast Wars comic which has been pretty fun, so this was kinda inevitable.

Well, their original continuity had quite a few high points and it didn't start to get really bad until the whole Revolution mess, when Hasbro mandated them to go full MCU with all their properties and it all turned into one disjointed mess.

The new series tho... with over an year to ever start the main Autobot-Decepticon war... preeeetty bad, yes...
