I finally watched 'Schindler's List'. I've been wanting to watch it for 25 years (fuck I hate saying that) but it just never came up when it came time to watch a movie. Very powerful. I'll be thinking over it for a long time.

After seeing that and 'Ready Player One' recently I've been meaning to ask the question that's been on my mind since the late 80's when I saw my first Spielberg movie. What makes it a Spielberg movie? I've seen lots of movies and lot's of goods ones. Is there something to his films that are different from the Nolans and Scotts and Camerons out there?

My day so far: Woke up at 9:30. Decided to make some tea and a sandwich. Couldn't find the pickles. Sat in the kitchen while reading the news about how our currency is getting weaker and how faster trains won't improve the effects on the climate as much as people want. Snickered at today's date. Shot a glance at the clock on the microwave and thought "Huh. 9:50. It's almost--Oh shit, I have a doctor's appointment in an hour!" Decided to skip the jacket because it's 21 C outside and I'd melt. When I got there, we went through my final evaluation after several other appointments with three other doctors. I'm about average across the spectrum when it comes to intelligence, motor functions, problem solving and such. Nothing that'd put me in the red when it comes to ADHD, autism or things like that. The things about my kidneys turned out to be nothing.

Great. Only took them about 8 months to rule out the things that would most likely have manifested years ago or been really obvious to anyone who's been talking to me for more than ten minutes. Imagine what might have happened if I had been in serious need of treatment for things like...I dunno...depression?

It sucks because you're mobile and everything but as soon as you do anything the most tiny bit strenuous your entire respiratory system goes down and you can't do anything!

Gonna have to dig a bit deeper and push on regardless of your lack of motivation.

That sickness you get is your body getting adjusted. Since you give up, your body resets, and you repeat the cycle. I can almost guarantee you that you will be better after a week of mild exercise, and be able to push harder.

Also not eating shitty food, getting a balanced diet, and eating the right nutrients will stave off or prevent the sickness from happening.
