I wouldn't say "no" to any of those, but where is the option for a Primal Rage reboot/remake/sequel? Hmmm?

I've never been and it was never on my 'places to visit' list, but I'm super excited to be going as I think it's the furthest from hone I can get. Plus I hear the weddings are quite spectacular.
Anyone here ever been?
The first friend I ever made, whom I recently reconnected with, is Indian. He visited there recently for the burial of his mother. Said he expected to feel some kind of kinship, or natural "connection," but he's American to the core it turned out, heh.
And yeah, they're a fair bit more involved than standard American Protestant/secular weddings. If it's real traditional, even more so. Quite an expensive ask of your friends, but if you can make it, it'd be a fascinating time!

Alright, I'll probably get the final DLC for AC: Valhalla, I'm a sucker for endings of stories. Not sure I'm interested in getting more AC games after that, to be honest, although of course the two Asian ones are appealing to me.
Still totally stuck in Immortal Empires, although I'm playing World of Warcraft on the side to level characters for the next expansion.

Well, well, well, look who came subbing back. But yeah, fucking around in TW3. Got a Konstan campaign pretty far in, he was level 50, but some non-obvious mistakes early on doomed it. Was trying to get my second daemon soul with my primary (and only) field army full of tier 1 units still, while other factions were going for 4. IE is pretty good, Nakai is so much less awful, and overall it's much easier no matter who you pick.

Hey, I told you weeks ago.
Anyway, still doing my Imrik campaign, third try. The first one went pretty badly, the second one was aborted when the patch came out and this one is going okay. It's the Dwarfpocalypse, so I've pulled back from my initial starting position to Ulthuan (except the Dragon Isles and Eastern Colonies, which are isolated and easily defendable). However, I'm still getting constant visits by Norscans and Chaos from the North, so I'm going for a crusade soon-ish. MEANWHILE, fricking Tretch Craventail is still around, because he confederated Queek and I still got to hunt down his last settlements, so no short victory after 140 turns and the long victory still needs me to kill off Hag Graef. For the first job, Teclis is now moving towards the last confirmed settlements of Tretch and of course Alith Anar is leading an army up in Norscans realms to seek and destroy the last settlements of Malus. If I still got the nerves after that, I'll deal with the Dwarfpocalypse.
The thing is, I activated the option for the ULTIMATE APOCALYPSE (all the endgame scenarios at once) and it hasn't shown up. So I'm not sure if that'll happen after I achieve long victory. Should be interesting.
Overall, a bit of a frustrating run, due to Tretch surviving for so long. Next I'm planning on the Sisters of Tweelight, because the Wood Elves campaign is much more focused, at least the short/long victory.
Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
Finished my first campaign with Imrik today. I need a short break for a few days, then I'll be back with the Sisters of Twilight. But, sheesh, quite a bit of a different experience than TW:WH2, I can tell you that. First off, that the world is bigger actually works against the player quite a bit. Unless you have a starting position which is pretty secure after you have gotten rid of the initial enemies (Southern Lustria would be a good example, as would be Cathay) you got to constantly keep armies on the borders to fend of full stacks of people coming for you. The AI is pretty hostile overall and it will come for you. I had to keep the northern coast of Ulthuan fully guarded with four armies, since the Norscans and Chaos kept sending down one army after the other, followed by Dwarves when the Dwarfpocalypse happened. When I got dragged into some wars due to military alliances, those new enemies tended to send multiple full stacks together and I had to scramble an army down to another corner of Ulthuan to take care of that.
Quite an experience, but a bit stressful and grindy after a while. I can't say that I got full dominance at any point of the campaign, although having endgame armies surely helped a ton.

Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
The last time I was in Elite Dangerous I pulled into this system with a pulsar. I probably mentioned this, but it was a brilliant violet and so bright. Everything the light touched had a violet/blue hew to it, all my instruments, all the planets. It also had two ejector cones coming from its north and south poles which were remarkable. Really an amazing system, I'm sure those who designed it were very proud of themselves as they should be.
Has anyone playing the game been to a system like that?
What phenomena have you come across that made you pause for a moment to soak it in?

Yeah the first Pulsar is always a good one.
I do remember the zoom moon, Mitterand Hollow. Which was sooo fun to see. Can't remember if it made it over to Odyssey.
I have a video of it in the Horizons version of the game. The footage is not sped up in any way.

The Beauty of Elite Dangerous is that most, in fact coser to 99.999999% of all systems are randomly generated, influenced by data from the actual Galaxy we're in. It's as close to a 1:1 scale as we're going to get for the time being.
Yeah there are some places they manufactured but they are in the extreme minority.
Hell as of January this year the entire Elite:Dangerous community, across all platforms since the game's release has only explored 0.05% of the Galaxy.
I gotta say that going to Sagittarius A* system was very much worth the travel time. To see the entire Galaxy warped in this orb was just, yes!
My first Thargoid Interdiction was a butt clenching moment. That was back during the Gnosis controversy. Barely made it out alive.
Which actually harkens back to a recent moment when the Stargoid was discovered. Jumping into the system it was heading towards at the time I was Hyperdicted by 3 Thargoid ships in my little Exploration Asp.
I am just so glad they just wanted to look at me.

There is a sense of safety and satisfaction when you land and lock onto a pad. They did a real good job of making the emptiness vast in the game.
Random system generating is just how the system is made up, not that it's random for me as it is for you?

Yeah it's random in the sense that until a CMDR drops into the system there is technically no data for it, but when that CMDR drops in then the system is set to that and then everyone has it that way.
Or I think it might be that the systems are held on their servers but the data was randomised and is always in it's current state but we "access" it when we load it in.
Right now I am grinding materials.

So it generates like a minecraft world, we just don't know if it does it the second someone explores it the first time or is generated (as opposed to personally designed) when the sector was opened up for explorers.

Interesting, I'm having the exact opposite experience. Everything feels tuned way down. First battle is easier, consolidating the initial area is usually a matter of taking 1 turn to recruit more infantry, if not taking the enemy's largest army out with your starting forces. Then mop up, no real resistance, and by turn 5 I'm in great position. AI seems less aggressive overall, much fewer forces, and otherwise doesn't recover as quickly from a loss. What I think might have happened is that they tuned Legendary down, and everything else up, to smooth out the differences. But I gave up my Nakai campaign because even with a half-stack of skinks, I could autoresolve through every battle with losses that would heal up in 2-turns.
That said, maybe I need to play more recklessly then, because it was _beaten_ into me by TW2 to play slow and safe.

Well, I'm playing on Normal/Normal, because I'm old.
What probably made it more challenging for me are the mods I've installed, which are Recruit Defeated Legendary Lords and Confederation Before Death. Meaning, the AI gets to confederate more easily if one of their racial compatriots gets significantly weakened and also if one faction does get wiped out, its legendary lord can be recruited by one of the AI factions. Hence, I still had to deal with all the legendary Dark Elf lords when only Hag Graef was left on the map.
In any case, I'll be back at it on Wednesday or Thursday, probably in a MP game, though.

Yeah kinda like that.
Every system is/has a seed and that seed is stored on their servers and we jump in and load it and that's then shown in-game.
There are some systems crafted by them specifically, like Sol.
Another one that had to change in the last few years was the TRAPPIST-1 system.
Also if on console you can port your account over to PC if you wish

Bah, get your ass kicked a few dozen times, you'll get the hang of Legendary/VH
Ooh. That'll do it. No more getting rid of Problem Generals. Lost a Tomb King campaign to Ironbrow once, because I literally could not kill him, despite wiping out his army.
My Daniel campaign is going...oddly. 2 portal events, no souls still. Was ready to claim the Khorne one on the second try, but for no reason I can tell, it booted me out of the realm with 5 turns left, the moment I was healed and ready to do the fight. No other armies with full blood points either. Finally facing some stiff resistance from the Kislev bloc, and Cathay off in the corner appears to have won their fights and confederated. Broke 3 armies against the walls of my capitol in a single battle. Feels like they're still missing something with the sieges, but at least I'm getting the hang of them. Daniel himself is busted, had to equip the full Undivided armor set just to make the rest of my army _useful_ for anything.
