An excellent point. One thing that always bugged me was they never really explained what it truly meant when the Dragon Aspects lost their Aspect abilities after slaying Deathwing for good. (Or why or how, for that matter, to a satisfactory explanation, but that’s a whole other discussion). Like, they’re weaker now, I get that, but what does that really mean, compared to their former glory, and compared to your average dragon? I have no frame of context here. Alex, Ysera and Noz still retained their extra large size and the physical strength that would entail, but how much weaker did their magical power from their respective domains become? Noz can still do time magic stuff, but what can he no longer do compared to his old self? It doesn’t help that we were never given a defined ceiling for what the Dragon Aspects are truly capable of either. We get some hints in the novels, but nothing set in stone, nor do we ever see a Dragon Aspect “go all out” in a way that showcases their full magical abilities. Like, how does Alexstrasza at full power compare to the likes of, say, Archimonde, Kil’Jaeden, Azshara, Bwonsamdi, Malorne, Medivh, or Arthas in full Lich King mode? I could ask a room full of Warcraft nerds and get a whole spectrum of different opinions. Saying the Dragon Aspects are weaker than Titans but stronger than regular dragons is a
vast gulf. Some clarification would be nice.

Oh, and in regards to Ysera, some spoiler stuff, which isn't in the game yet (but you can find the cinematic if you so choose on Youtube). She's coming back, at least for a while, and Malfurion has got to hang out in Ardenweald as her replacement.
Now, I personally would be fine if she's come permanently and we'd be rid of Malfurion, who has been super boring since he showed up in Warcraft 3. But some people are now complaining that Ysera is back "despite her death being well done in Legion" and I really have to disagree. Her corruption and subsequent death pretty much was a total asspull, with Xavius just outright turning her evil with one move, a level of power he never had demonstrated before. It always felt really meaningless to me, especially since we killed Xavius off in the first raid and then that entire storyline was finished for the rest of the expansion. Not to mention the narmy acting by the Malfurion voice actor around the entire storyline. So, I'd be happy if Ysera would stay and Malfurion had to stay in the Shadowlands. Then Illidan also can finally come back and have sexual tension with Tyrande. :p

Having Ysera and Malfurion switch places seems like a great idea. Ysera is the better character, so leaving her trapped in the afterlife would be a waste, especially with all this dragon stuff going on, and Malfurion can come back when he needs to for big plot moments concerning the Night Elves or the natural world, but otherwise can stay offscreen in the meantime because he is rather dull as a character, and his position is rather unneeded and redundant narrative-wise with the Night Elves nowadays. Tyrande clearly has the leadership role down (and her romance with him as never been that engaging or interesting, if I'm being honest), and there's tons of druids running around now.
Yeah, I always thought bringing back Xavius was a bad idea, even more so with the route they went with him. Felt less like a "Oh shit, he survived!" moment and more of a borderline Diabolous Ex Machina that came out of nowhere, not once, but twice, no less.
