"In its second quarter financial results, Embracer Group said it was overwhelmed with the number of responses to the survey it released in October and responded plainly: "We hear you loudly and clearly". Phil Rogers, CEO of Embracer's 12th operative group that encompasses Legacy of Kain creator Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Interactive, said: "We wanted to gain a community perspective on what players are looking for should we revisit the land of Nosgoth and, of course, our iconic IP Legacy of Kain." Went to BJ's, a wholesaler similar to Costco or Sam's Club, today. Case of water, 40 bottles, _$7_. Place is right next to a Costco, so they should be competing too, but the same case used to be around $3.50. Dozen eggs was around $5, but they're up huge everywhere for some reason I can't fathom. Only moderately reasonable thing in the store was a 52oz jar of peanuts I got for like $7.

On the plus side, picked up a nice job doing a cabinet showroom's painting between Christmas and New Years. Good few days, God willing I break even for the month at least. Then the grim days of January. Hope you all are stable out there.

In local news, I was taking a glass out of the cupboard earlier, dropped it about an inch from the counter, and in trying to catch it, slammed it down, it exploded, and long story short, the pad of my thumb was gushing blood. Could've been worse though, don't need stitches, probably. Picked up a nice bit of work between Christmas and New Years, which I badly need. Otherwise winding down the year, thinking about what's been and what will be.

The plan was always to cut the slack in December as I am not a monster, lol.

Plateaued for now at the 303lbs mark. I expect to gain, maybe on the worst possible end, about 10 lbs back, but then the shock to the system should hopefully kickstart the new burn in January to lose just fine over the next few months and be back down to below 300lbs early next year.

I still have the instruction manuals for Starcraft, Diablo 2, and Warcraft 3, all in fairly good condition. Metzen's passion and creativity were evident in every page. Back in the day, I’d read them over and over for the lore and try my hand at drawing the various aliens/demons/vehicles/weapons. Loved that shit.

Ah, right. I managed to get my hernia mostly under control by taking esomeprazole magnesium long past the recommended length of time you're supposed to. But my health insurance only covers hernia repair if it becomes unlivable, so I make do. When's the op?
