Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
Doing my daily Pokemon PVP matches, I got blown out in first set, 1-4. I had my Medicham, an extremely common, powerful meta Pokemon as the anchor, or the last position on the team. His primary prey, steel-types, had not come out once from an enemy of their 15 total. I decided to swap him out for a Lurantis and record what happened.
Sets of 5
----------
1) 1-4, 0% of teams had steel, Medicham anchor
2) 1-4, 80% of teams had steel, Lurantis anchor
3) 2-3, 80% of teams had no steel, Medicham anchor
4) 3-2, 60% of teams had steel, Alakazam anchor with Counter/Fire First (anti-steel typed)
5) 1-4, 60% of teams had steel, randomized every match
Obviously, I'm not making a point about steel type or anything, but using it as a metric. It seems like my anchor does in fact have causal power over what I'll likely face. I also noticed in the first set, when Medicham accomplished nothing, his hard counters were prolific. And they disappeared after removing him from anchor, Trevenant, Azuremaril, Sableye, saw only 1 of the last in any of the following matches. I need to start tracking the data longer term, since it's such a tiny set, but I've had a kind of sixth sense about what I'm about to fight as I've gained experience, and can even predict the exact Pokemon on lead before I start a match. There's a pattern here!

I'm really looking forward to the RE4 remake, since I quite liked the RE2 remake and was okay with the RE3 remake (although it was waaaaaaaaaaay too short).

"While Angron busies himself with transforming an entire Indomitus Crusade fleet into slavering monsters, the grand architect of the Arks of Omen saga edges closer to completing his inscrutable goal. A key piece of his puzzle lies deep within the Rock – the mobile space fortress of the Dark Angels Chapter and all that remains of their homeworld Caliban – and the time for subtle manipulation has ended.
The Arkifane unleashes his full might in Arks of Omen: Vashtorr, the third book in the latest narrative expansion series for Warhammer 40,000. Long preferring shadowy machinations in the background, Vashtorr now takes direct action and the Dark Angels are in for a shock.
Making a deal with an Abominable Intelligence* to predict the movements of the Rock, the Soul Forge King launches an all-out assault with forces gathered from the Black Legion, Iron Warriors, and his own cabal of indentured daemons. The largest and most terrifying Ark of Omen yet spearheads the attack – only to be bitterly resisted by the freshly ascended Grand Master Azrael.
With 30 pages of story and a spectacular model showcase, Arks of Omen: Vashtorr also introduces a narrative campaign for Boarding Actions entitled The Rock Besieged. This series of interlocking missions follows the story of Vashtorr’s attack, and can be played using the forces depicted in the book or used for your own campaigns starring any factions.
* You can thank a clueless Inquisitor of the Ordo Astartes for that, Dark Angels."

"The Arks of Omen narrative continues – and now the xenos are getting in on the action. While Vashtorr causes chaos at the Rock and Angron smashes Indomitus Fleet Quartus, the T’au renegade Commander Farsight fights his own personal war against Boss Nazdreg’s Bad Moons in Arks of Omen: Farsight.
And this time, O’Shovah has had an upgrade.
Puretide’s protege is now piloting a bleeding-edge XV-86 Supernova battlesuit, designed specifically to suit his needs by O’Vesa, the Earth Caste scientist who fights by his side as one of the Eight – Farsight’s hand-picked crew of companions. Though similar to the XV-8 Crisis suit, this hot rod sports greatly enhanced command and control suites, all guided by a fancy on-board AI – dubbed Supernova.
These upgrades come just in time for his greatest challenge yet in Arks of Omen: Farsight. The infamous Bad Moons warlord Nazdreg, master of tellyporta taktiks, has taken up the reins of the War of Dakka – a never-ending conflict fuelled by the Orks’ desire to beat the Farsight Enclaves at their own shooting game.
Strange visions draw O’Shovah back to the ominous world of Arthas Moloch, and just as he seems to be ready to vanquish the Orks once and for all, disaster strikes. It wouldn’t be an Arks of Omen book without an Ark or two showing up, after all…"

Avoided poisoning myself tonight. Was making a bowl of cereal, finished the current gallon of milk, go for the new one. Feels a little weird, different brand, but looks a little "puffy." Cap came off without twisting, so it wasn't properly sealed, and gave it a sniff. Was rather like how in chemistry class, we were told never to sample a smell directly, but by wafting it towards you nose with your hand. Awful, awful.
Glad I checked too, it would've taken a few bites to realize it with how freakin' sweet our cereal is.

"Starfield will launch for Xbox Series X|S and PC on September 6, 2023, a delay from its previously planned “first half of 2023” release window.
A “Starfield Direct” broadcast is planned for June 11, which will share the latest information on the game.
Message from Todd Howard:
“Hey everyone, from myself and everybody here at Bethesda, we are so excited to finally tell you when Starfield is coming out this year.
“We have poured ourselves into this game and even I’m surprised how much we can pour—it is large. We’re playing the game all the time—shout-out over here to lead producer Tim Lamb. Old-school fans, you may remember him from the Oblivion Making-Of video where he’s sitting on a similar sofa doing similar things.
“But also, this June we’re gonna bring you into the studio, and give you a deep dive in the game at our ‘Starfield Direct.’ There’s so much that we still have to show you. The game has many of the hallmarks that you’d expect from us, but it’s also a very unique experience.
“And again, thank you all for all your excitement about the game—your support, your comments, we really do read it all. Look, we know you’ve waited a long time to play something new from us. Believe it or not, we’re kinda the same—we miss it and we really just can’t wait for you all to play it. So thanks, and we’ll see you soon.”"

I feel ya; I know that smell. Absolutely vile. I’ve had to throw out not one, but two gallons of milk just in the last 5 months.

Now that you mention it, I think I have too...
Whereas that's happened maybe 2 or 3 times in the rest of my life, while I've had gallons stay drinkable up to 10 days after their expiration date. Odd, that.
