I have software that runs on my phone called 'mdnsd' and it drains my battery like nothing else. Looked it up and what I hear is that it's from an app you download for controlling your drone. I don't have a drone or ever downloaded the app. The only solution I can find is to turn off your phone, recharge it then turn it back on to turn the program off. Only my charger is with my vehicle at the dealership. So my phone is off for now. Anyone have an idea of what programs use this or a better way to avoid it turning on? I run android on a galaxy s III.

I knew about this for quite some time already but it is still kinda shocking to me. Like it's been in production for quite a while now so it's crazy that it's canceled now.

But at the same time, I could see why because the E3 footage last year really wasn't all that great. Maybe that and the overall progress of the game completion made them want to cancel it.

Anyway, I'm pretty disappointed. As someone who loves Platinum games work. I'm pretty sure I would have enjoyed it in some way. Also feel bad for Kamiya. Since he always talked about how it was something he always wanted to create.

It's neat reading about the sequoias. They have to have wild fires in order to survive. Their bark is thick enough to withstand the flames and their cones open up with the heat. The fire also clears out all the shadow brush and makes their seeds able to grow up protected in the ash. It's fascinating that in a thing as destructive as a fire, the symbol of ultimate loss and eradication you'll find 2000 to 3500 year old trees that thrive because of it.

Gotta say, I'm really surprised at the reviews DX:MD received. Aside from some fair points about the micro transactions and some performance issues at launch, a lot of the things seem rather petty. Speaking of performance: 50FPS average on mostly high settings for a GPU that's below minimum requirements is brettygud in my book. The game reminds me of the improvements that Assassin's Creed 2 made upon AC1 whilst cutting away some of the fat. I could easily see myself playing through again just for the stealth gameplay, even though I found the actual story good enough that I'm actually having trouble putting off finally playing the mobile port of The Fall.

Although I do still find it strange that wasn't ever any mention of a savegame import and the like but I'm assuming it probably had something to do with the new generation of consoles. MIght be just sticking out due to the complete and utter lack of any mention of Faridah Malik. Th-thanks Eidos.

The story was completely underwhelming, full of boring characters and so clearly cut in half. And the first dlc they released was a joke that tried to scream play rift mode in your face, it was on par with the Fallout 4 DLC's.

I only dabbled in the settlement building thing, if only because I wanted to build something that wasn't really possible with the limited tools. I did manage to build a death arena on that island in the middle of nowhere, though. Always had pacified deathclaws running around my settlers. Then I'd release captured gunners and raiders into the arena with the same deathclaws when I got bored.

Tried to build a Vault, but it always felt like a cheap knockoff compared to the real thing.

All of that aside, I think the only Fallout 4 DLC worth a damn is the Nuka-World DLC, if only because it lets you fuck over the settlers that were constantly whining about feral ghouls on the other side of the fucking map.
