Looks like the ship gets invaded.
Liam is a dark skinned dude, with a young british accent, I dig it.
The female human, I forgot her name, just looks like ashley with short hair. She is confirmed straight/bi. Actual lip biting possible?? They've put some work into those.
The salarian pilot is pretty young looking.
Female Turian seems like a cautious type.
Krogan is definitely badass
A female of the race (I assume) we saw on previous gameplay seems to be helping.

To be fair, it does seem unlikely they'd do the non-squadmate lesbian romance again. But also unless Liam is gay they there would have to be another non-squadmate gay male.

Well, the set pieces and story sound cool so far. The squad, I'm still ambivalent on. We know nothing about Cora or Liam yet, so until we do, I'm see checkmarks on a list with them. Turian girl and krogan guy, they might be pretty good, depending on what their deal is. I can't imagine he'll be another Wrex/Grunt. Face tech still seems off, but I'll wait until I see it in motion to judge. Daddy Ryder looks badass though, is he doomed? PeeBee, I've already voiced worry, but hey, I'll give her a chance too. I honestly did try to give Sera a fair shake in DA:I, and that lasted until after she murdered a guy I was talking to without me prompting.

So, I remain as I was. Holding pattern, tentatively hopeful. I'll end up preordering right before launch, since early access should mean we have a real clear idea of quality.

So far, I am not feeling good things about this team. It looks like a rehash of the ME1 team and that's just boring.

They're selling this team as an elite team (Which I'm not feeling since they look like children) where the only elite on the ME1 crew was Shepard until he recruited Wrex. Ash was a standard soldier who was rescued and Kaiden was the junior asked to accompany on a shake down run. Tali was only a kid as well as Liara. This new team just has a feeling that I don't like in storytelling where the hot young sexy elites are at the center. I'm guessing the oldest is Cora, a lieutenant who is probably in her later 20s. Maybe they'll surprise us.

Wait, when you look at the beginning with the kid who's speaking and you freeze it when you see all four people on the deck at about 8 or 9 seconds, that's your team! I see PeeBee, some dark skinned male and a person with light swooped hair who is definitely a female. If that's right, then this video takes place way before the events of the game. So they must not have woken up currently, but in the past. Perhaps they've been in Andromeda for 10 years at the onset of the game?

Looking more intently at her face I can see her as the senior on the team. Hard to tell with game graphics, like how they made older people look in the original trilogy.

However, with the 8 second mark in the first video, she isn't facing us, so it's possible that she could have been in her early 20's when the first events of the trailer took place.

Cannot really watch these effectively because I have no headphones and I am at work. Those fleshy headtail aliens (assuming Andarans?) are kind of gross though. I am hoping they aren't the major alien male romance option.

One of the things I liked most about the ME universe was how the aliens were named. Because it was unlike Star Trek, where the aliens were named after the planet. Andarans just sound like they're from Andaria or Andara. Meh.

I have to say, this trailer actually did more to get me interested in the setting and everything than everything else we've seen.

Still on the fence, but nice to see them put something out that, you know, actually has a modicum of substance to it.
