Happy to say that I'm not regretting preordering For Honour at the last moment, even if Ubisoft still cannot into matchmaking. Although I'm surprised that after all of the alphas and betas the character balance is still off, I guess I'll have to make the most of the launch week to get my fun from the Lawbringer before everyone starts going full weeaboo.

Welp... so this is a thing now:

Supposed to be just the first of an whole series. Gonna guess Widowmaker will be next, but hopefully there's gonna be a Mercy too.

Nendaroid huh?
I just got my Rem one, I do like them but they cost quite a bit to get imported.

Yeah, I get me one now and then, it puts me in a good mood having one or two on my desk while I'm working ehe.
And... for the record...

Don't have that one, but I thought you Rin fanboys might want to know of its existence, ehe.
There's even a 2-pack with her and Saber in cheerleaders outfit, if I recall properly.

I barely even watched anime back then so I wouldn't have known.
I just managed to find a website that is uk based, and will deliver to europe. And also sells Nendaroids, I think it might be cheaper to buy them from there than from goodsmile.

Well... eBay re-sellers are gonna ask you to pay an arm and a leg, and there's always the risk to come across bad bootlegs (although there are also very very good ones that are almost indistinguishable from the originals). So if you have a shop you trust for import figures is definately better to use it.

There's a Sniper Sinon one as well, SciFlyBoy... that one I do actually own. I believe it's getting a reprint soon as well, or it just very recently did.

I know, when I typed 'nendoroid' for the first time just now I quickly added Sinon and then looked at my wallet.

Had drinks and smoked a lot with a lovely little blond who's definitely a lateral thinker.
Wasn't a date, technically, but if it was...It went well.

Damn, those Nendaroid are too fucking adorable. Not a huge figure fan but that's something I would pick up if I had the money.
I most likely won't because I'd I buy one, I'll want the rest of my favorite characters. And if I don't, I'll feel like shit for not having them.

I have 3/4 of a the Star Trek reboot collectible glass set, so I'm an advocate for either going all out, or choose not to participate at all. You don't want to be known as the one who's collection is missing Kirk.

I admit that I am enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would. Matchmaking may be an issue, but it's an issue that can be fixed, which is my hope.
Nobushi is for no-fun allowed.

For Honor is a blast. Valkyrie for life.

I do play, but BF1 doesn't have the same appeal as BF3.

I bought 1 when it came out but I stopped playing for no real reason, apart from all the Assaults running around with the model 10 turning every map into Metro 1918 edition. Still got it installed though.

I think the maps have been declining slowly but steadily since BF3, nothing's left an impression for me like Caspian or Kharg. Lack of good three-man MBTs too.

Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
If I recall correctly, I remember hearing BF3 had map design and balance in mind before looks. BF4 did it the other way around. So no surprise that maps are not as good.
Speaking of For Honor. I played the beta and thought it was alright. It being a Ubisoft game, I didn't want to pick it up day one. I may pick it up in the near future if it's supported well and my friends actually stick with it.

I like how when I look up a zinc supplement on Amazon, the bundle deal it creates includes bottles of pygeum and lecithin.
Because of course fellow perverts are the primary consumers of the stuff. Handy though.

The entirety of Final Fantasy (III-XIV) is 50% off on Steam. Sounds like a good deal if you have a crave for classic JRPGs.

The Imperial Guard held the line. But the same could not be said for the planet on which they stood.

Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
@Rip: That's the core of my issue. While looking up what an INTP is, I find people who use their results as a cloak. I am X, my partner is Y, why do they do Z???
They're a human being, goddamit, their life has value!
But more seriously, I get the point of it. Whoever made this thing up picked a bunch of binaries that encapsulate human behavior, made a nice chart of all combinations, and then worked out how that manifests. It's a neat idea, and given how close it pins me on some deeply personal stuff, I'm impressed. Way more effort than a horoscope. It's the identity part that bugs me, as if: "I'm not an edgy, socially awkward jerk, I'm INTP!" is an excuse.
Which I suppose is using the fandom to condemn the creation. Hm.
@Sci: You need to get the fuck out of my head, because you're hitting real close to home on that description of thought processes.

Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
@Vol: Do you know how many years I had to endure hearing "You're weird," or people shaking their heads going "That's William," or everybody saying "He just marches to the beat of his own drum" and just being pushed to the outside of social circles and not feeling accepted by anyone? To know that I have something in common with someone and that I can make a real connection with an individual that's not a facade or bound by some arbitrary social hierarchical rules is something I desire on a deep, spiritual level. I'm real glad I can share my complexities with someone. Thanks Vol.

Really is.
Of course plenty of people cling to things that tell them their negative behavior is okay. That's just human nature. Since when have people been given tools that some didn't end up abusing?
The system itself, however, particularly as far as 'personality quizzes' go, if that's what you want to call it, is pretty solid, and ultimately just that, a tool that can help explain some of the general reasons why your mind works the way it does. It's supposed to help you grow as a person.

I'm doing some traveling this weekend during the biggest storm CA has seen in 6 years? I'll do my best to be safe. See you all Monday.

Happy and safe travels. Not sure how bad storms are in California but I assume it could be worse compared to other locations.

Really, the whole state is going to break off into the sea any day now.
