Wish this series was longer so they could do more times and locales. Godzilla in the Aztec Empire, Godzilla in ancient Egypt, Godzilla in the American Revolutionary War… the possibilities are endless!

So it's official... starting November 2016 a new series featuring Venom starts. No more space badass hero, and apparently an whole new host. Which... yeah... I'm surprisingly NOT thrilled about. They managed to do something new and cool with the character, kept it going for a few years and gain so much popularity it even became an important character in the animated continuity... and now thei're gonna whipe that all away, and probably wasting several issues of our time just to let us know who the new human host is.

Marvel keeps getting their main heroes replaced and rebooted and this is the ONE return to classic I didn't need to see. It's like when they made the Juggernaut return to be a supervillain for no damn good reason.

Not cool, Marvel. You're undoing all of the character growth the Venom Symbiote's done. Venom and Flash had a good thing together and your ruining it! Obviously Flash could't keep the symbiote forever, but this just makes years of the Venom character arc seem fruitless and pointless. A regression, not progression. A giant step back, not forward. And way too soon regardless.

Just have Venom spawn another kid, have that kid get to earth, and boom! You can have an Earth-bound symbiote running around giving Parker trouble without breaking up Venom and Flash and making the symbiote evil again.
