As a rule of thumb, if information is not blatant common knowledge, keep it here, or put it in tags in the general.

I watched some clips with Vetra and she sounds like good company. No "my entire squad got murdered" melodrama, just simple down-to-earth talk. Plus, I tend to enjoy the moments when aliens blush and suddenly be at a loss for words/lose their train of thought in Mass Effect.

So apparently, the appearance of Alec Ryder and the twins' mother is determined by the preset you chose. So if you take a black preset say, and edit it to have pale skin (or vice versa), you end up with two white kids with black parents or two black kids with white parents. That's not the most encouraging thing ever. I was mostly inclined not to care too much about CC issues because I don't get that creative, but come on.

I mean, SAM seems like an ok artificial intelligence, but still.

Ambassador Goyle. She was in the very first Mass Effect novel. Is this the first time we've seen what she looks like? Doesn't humanity get in trouble in the first book about A.I. research and she has to placate the Council?

The Zha created and merged with artificial intelligence to form the Zha'Til. They did this in order to increase their intelligence as their homeworld became uninhabitable. The relationship was symbiotic; the AI never revolted against the organic part of them. As per what Javik says if you bring him aboard the Geth Dreadnought, the horrors that resulted from the Zha'Til only came about when the Reapers subjugated the AIs, and thus seizing control of the organics they were embedded within.

Oh definitely. As fascinated as I am with the idea of a brain hooked up to an AI, it's leaning a tad too much towards green for my tastes. :/
I guess we'll have to wait and see how the SAM storyline works out.

The entire move to the Andromeda Galaxy is Bioware saying "Look, we're glad you could have an adventure of literal galactic consequences, but we wrote ourselves into a corner. This is our out. You want more space adventures or not?"

All that has been said in that clip is the Andromeda Initiative THOUGHT the Galaxy stood no chance.

That doesn't mean they were right, but all it DOES mean is they thought "well we'll be stuck 600 years and light years away so fuck it let's not consider it."

Bioware can still very easily do anything with the Milky Way at any point so long as they ignore idiotic twats who keep bitching about the ME3 endings.
Because honestly if they DO move everything to Andromeda and bring back ALL the races we love and have an ability for them all to prosper does it really fucking matter?
It's now turned form a Star Trek-esque "in our own Galaxy" to a Star Wars-esque "Galaxy Far Far Away" deal.

Yeah, pretty much everythign is fixed and back to normal.
Just no EDI and no Geth.
So, yeah, one up on a Galactic scale. Geth CAN be remade to pre-Reaper upgrade but honestly it'd be better to hold off for a while on that.
That can easily have stories in the Milky Way be a possibility.
Maybe around the same time scale as Andromeda (as in 600 years in the future).

If BioWare can manage to gather up the nuts to canonize one ending, it should be the best Destroy ending, seeing how the other endings are a bit too ambiguous.

I also wouldn't be surprised if the 29th century Milky Way considers devoting any resources to finding and joining the Andromeda Initiative to be a waste of time, since they can probably get to that galaxy in pretty much an instant using mass relay technology if the need should arise.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Nexus ended up being a massive mass relay in disguise, keyed to the Citadel.

That way when it's fully completed, they could send a tightbeam transmission back to the Milky Way, showing the all clear and allowing intergalactic travel. Instead of 600 years it only takes a fraction of the time.
