Liam blames his problems with the system on himself, not others. Thats more than Jacob could say. To an extent its more than even Garrus could say.
Yeah. But most people don't effectively commit suicide over it. Liam had a good life, but he threw his friends, family, and career away the first chance he got on an impulse.
Like, Garrus and Jacob were hotheads fed up with red tape, and yet somehow their responses of joining a terrorist group and becoming space Punisher were orders of magnitude less extreme than Liam's response to the problem. Like, I just can't empathize with that level of impulsive behavior. That's a disaster waiting to happen, which ultimately IS what happens on his loyalty mission, except Ryder is there to tell him to chill the fuck out.
Which, I actually appreciated by the way. My Ryder made choices so that after the fact she got to call Liam out on his behavior and told him to go sit his ass down and take a chill pill. I get that some people are going to like Liam, and I get the appeal. But for ME there isn't anything there. That's just like, my opinion man.
