You guys here about the otaku penguin in Japan? There's an anime called Kemono Friends which features animals that have been turned into girls. It's hugely popular. One zoo has put cutouts throughout its exhibits of the characters and one penguin has apparently fallen in love with the penguin girl Hululu. It's both adorable and sad. I can relate.

Thanks Prey, it's not like I wanted to keep playing after 20 or so hours anyway.
On a sidenote, that offer for Vanquish if you already own Bayonetta is looking pretty enticing.

What's that about? I completely missed it.
Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
What a fucking annoying day. The high points are the ME4 patch and having a good experience at McDonald's after work. Everything else was miserable at best. Gaaaaaah.
@Azint: I don't use Windows 10, but it sounds like a de-sync issue, possibly? Reboot/reconnect to whatever the hell Microsoft does now?
@Su: Congratulations, graduate! If nothing else, you're better poised than most to eventually get that job.

So is Samus trapped in the Fusion Suit, or is her body altered so heavily that she IS the Fusion Suit? Or is it neither? Ive never been clear on that.

Both Samus and the techno-organic parts of her suit were altered by Metroid vaccine, but she didn't become the suit or is trapped inside it. She can take it off whenever she wants. The various endings have her taking off both the helmet & the whole suit and walking around in civilian clothes.
The Federation doctors couldn't get her suit off during the surgery because she was unconscious and her central nervous system was infected by X parasites at the time. It takes a mental command from Samus herself to dismiss the armor. Hence why the doctors had to cut the outer armor off the Power/Varia suit to administer the vaccine into the biomechanical under-armor components to be effective.
(I'd like to see what they used to cut that armor, considering how nigh-indestructible it is. Even with its shields down and integrity compromised, Chozo armor tech is insanely durable.)

So apparently there is ANOTHER Metroid rumor, this time saying a second classic style 2d game is being developed along with whatever Retro is doing.

It took me about 70 hours for about 3/4ths of the shrines. I reloaded an old save just to collect the last "memory" so i could get the true ending, but that didn't take long. It is unquestionably the best Zelda game ever made, and id go as far as to say one of the best open world games period.

Yeah, althought it seems to come from abit less reliable sources. It also sounds like either way we could be getting an official statement on whole matter next month at E3. Fingers crossed!

My time was similar to Theo's.
I plan on doing another play through over the summer.
Its both a great LoZ game and a great game in general. I highly recommend it, even if LoZ games aren't normally your cup of tea.
I got it on the WiiU, not the Switch, but it still looked and played amazingly.

That's great to hear. I was given Star Fox Zero and want to play Hyrule Warriors on the WiiU plus I'd like to play Link and was thinking of renting a WiiU to play them all. The only LoZ game I ever played was The Adventures of Link. My brother owns quite a few others and one day I'd like to get all them in, but no time in the near future. AoL had the best music by the way.

The top LoZ games to play, if you want to get the LoZ experience but don't want to or can't play all of them, are: Wind Waker, Breath of the Wild, Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time, and Link to the Past.
Reading the Hyrule Historia is also good way to familiarize yourself with the series' lore, chronology, and nature of the different timelines if you want a crash course. The various online wikis are good, too.
Hyrule Warriors is actually very fun and addictive. I'd recommend saving that for later, after you have a few other Zelda games under your belt, because even though its not canon, its an Avengers-esque team-up and crossover of the many different eras, and you'll get more enjoyment and understand the references/jokes/easter eggs better if you're familiar with the history and characters.

I actually found a good card to go with my Mother's Day gift this year. A rare find indeed! So many of them are lame or banal these days.

Good for you. I personally don't do cards, so I'll find a cake to bake. Something with cranberries and chocolate.
I know quite a bit about the Legend of Zelda series just from trying to understand jokes I hear, memes and such and watching my brother play. Smashing pots is a thing; Ganon is both a man and a pig; Zelda is sweet in one game, shy in another and a cold bitch in one; Midna is into wolves; don't touch a chicken; "Hey, listen!"; Link's left handed; except for the Wii game; Master Sword; Wisdom & Power & Courage; the moon face thing; and finally the fish girl waifu.
I think I got it all down.

The Zelda series isnt really hard to understand. Id be more concerned about the order you play due to overall quality of game. Breath of the Wild kind of ruins the rest of the Zelda in my opinion. Going back to those old games is very hard after Breath of the Wild.
On the other hand Ocarina of Time is a great Zelda game, but its very old. Every 3d Zelda after it did what it did a lot better.

I'm pretty good at immersing myself in a world and ignoring technical aspects, like the quality of the images and such. Don't really care much if a series doesn't hold up or not. Of course I probably need to finish the Metroid Prime series first. So much to catch up on.

I spent a really long time on this piece, so many little aliens to work in there, not to mention the king itself. I’m a huge Alien fan so this project was especially satisfying, I could paint aliens for day(which is exactly what I did)."

Did my first 3 placement matches, since Season 4 in OW is ending soon. Loss, win, loss. The losses were pretty close though, so it's fine. I got matched with people who had this shiny, light rank icon, what's that mean? Last time I did comp was season 1 and I think I placed 63, so this is all new.

As I understand it, you really aren't going to find a better microphone for that price, but it also depends on what you need it for.

It's mostly because I'm tired of having headset mics that either break or have low sound quality. Or pick up something every time I move my head. Also, I'm pretty sure it has a mute button that's easy to access, which alone puts it above most of my other mics.
I'm just looking for all the alternatives so that I don't buy something, only to find out a week later that I could have gotten something better for a better price. I also don't know if I'll need one of those pop filters for it.
