Nice. Very heroic/adventurous sounding.
Can you share the details of what this was for?

I listen to a podcast and they play fan submitted music at the end. Maybe they'll play it in the next coming months.
Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
It took me a moment, but it sort of reminds me of the first level of Rocket Knight Adventures, that sense of airy adventure.

Urgh I hate these popularity votes determining the outcome.
As soon as it got to fist fighting Boba Fett would have whipped out the durasteel cord trap or his wrist mounted flamethrower, or kneepad tranq darts. Once it got to long range he'd have used his backpack mounted missile.
Once Boba had him in the arm lock he'd have just slammed down on Starlord's elbow and snapped his arm.
Plus Starlord only won because of allies.
If we're taking allies in for Boba Fett to Deus Ex machina this shit then let's also bring in Bossk, Zuckuss and 4-LOM, IG-88 and Dengar. All of similar tech, power and skill as Boba Fett. Each has their own ship and unique weapon sets.
That's if we're not counting Imperial resources given to him to assist.
Deus Ex Machina win isn't a win.

It really depends alot by what versions of the characters they're going. Movie Fett and Star-Lord are considerably less powerful and skilled than EU Boba and comic-book S.L. so that alone evens the odds quite abit.
Plus even with his armor on, it would have been incredibly stupid for Boba Fett to use his flamthrower in a very close space, like that derelict starship. And he was obviously going for the killing, so no much point in traps and darts.
And honestly I've never seen what makes Boba Fett such an amazing character, tbh. Mandalorians are rather awesome, but the movie version of Fett is little more than a cliffnote in the two movies he shows up into and looks like pretty much every competent, tech and skills-wise, should be able to be at least evenly matched to him. Again... talking only of MOVIE Boba Fett.
Also I see no allies. That could be only Star-Lord remote controlling his ship... which is something Boba could have done too, from what I recall, just adding up to the "evenly matched" remark.

I dunno, the suit is flame retardant so I think the flamethrower would have been okay. At the very least a quick burst would have incapacitated Star Lord.
Plus the traps would incapacitate too, making the kill easier.
Only Movie Fett would be a fair match-up. But I'd say it'd be massively unfair as you'd be pairing off a main character with a minor character. If we were being fair the truer match would be "Boba Fett vs Tazerface" if we're going by "on screen time spent".
A one button press can make the ship fly, hover, aim, and fire?
Because until the moment SL touches the side of his head he basically has his hands up. Unless he did that offscreen then it's more likely the button press was a signal to fire and whoever was flying took the shot.
Which would imply allies.
Still doesn't make it not a Deus Ex Machina though.

Either way, I'll definately concede you that Boba has a much better chance against any version of Star-Lord than when people put him against people like Master Chief or Samus Aran. Those are just in the "lolNO" cathegory.

Um... Im pretty sure that movie Star Lord, who is not canon, is VASTLY under-powered compared to his comic book counterpart.
Compared to Boba Fett, who is literally ONLY a threat in his no longer canon extended universe fan service crap.
Boba Fett is completely impotent. Hes popular because he had the only half decent looking set of armor in the original series.

Comic Star-Lord used to have cosmic powers on par with people like Captain Marvel, and took him battling an herald of Galactus and a near-death experience to lose them and become how we know him today. And even so, he's much more experienced and hard to kill than an average human. His guns are also more like the stuff Judge Dredd goes around with, and have a shitton of alternate fire types. Plus all the other tricks and gadgets he goes around with.
If we were talking of comic-version Star-Lord, Boba would still get his ass kicked, yes. I'm willing to give him abit more benefit of the doubt just because the video very blatantly uses MCU Star-Lord as a point of reference.

Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
Can you guys recommend a good computer monitor that does 144 Hz, Full HD and all that jazz? I've been looking all over, but the sites I've looked on never specified the hertz, which bothered me greatly. Oh and it should have HDMI. I'm too lazy to bother with that DisplayPort shit.
I want to have two screens, with the older one serving as my console screen and then I want to have some higher FPS than 60 when I game on my PC. Feels like having a Lamborghini and only be able to drive around suburban areas.

I personally dread 30 as a milestone for various reasons, but I'm glad that some can enjoy it.

Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
I'm editing my first video. I made a funny little movie teaching my friend how to make cornbread that I hope spawns others. It's funny though, (not the content, that shit's terrible) but in making this video I've given myself work as a composer because I'll need about 20 mins of music in the back ground. I'll let you know when it's finished.
Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
Thank you all for your kind words.
I was looking forward to the 30 year milestone… not quite so enthusiastic about the next one at 40.

Yea, 40 seems like an age ripe for existential meltdowns.
By 50, I think I will feel like "I'm getting old and *wise,* fuckers. So there!"

I dunno. I've met a lot of people at or over the age of 50 and I'd consider very few of them to be even close to wise.
Hurrah for that middle-age crisis at 40, though. My mom used to always babble about buying a Harley Davidson when she'd retire and I took that as a sign of desperately wanting to cling onto something, because after she hit 50, I didn't hear it nearly as much.

Happy 30th, Drag. Enjoy the day, you certainly deserve it. A third of the way through the race, it only comes once. Unless we hold on long enough for life extension tech. Still, cheers!

Can you describe what it feels like to be motivated and productive? I'm rather jealous.

Wisdom is differentiated from smarts for a reason, just saying.
My mother hit hers in her mid-40's. Destroyed the family, immense financial recklessness, etc. My father's version was buying a hot tub he got on the cheap from the dealer. So there's a varying degree of intensity.

Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
Oh god, XCOM 2 on Legend is really annoying sometimes. Just when I'm about to attack a very important facility related to the Avatar project (which I need to do, since I've gotten the doomsday clock like twice by this point), the Spokesman always shows up and says "You need to rescue my ass-slave from ADVENT immediately or you'll lose this region!" and then I need to waste manpower and time on those really tedious missions of his. It's gone to the point where I'll be glad to see him go down.
Escort missions have always been a fucking plague on the video game industry and this is no exception. Not to mention that the structure of the mission in this case makes no sense. If my troops immediately finds the guy, can't they just rope back up to the dropship and leave? Or did my men in heavy power armor somehow manage to run around unnoticed until they found the VIP on their own?

You've never had the Spokesman call you about capturing/escorting a VIP? A Council mission? Wow, that's...I'm quite jealous.
As far as I know, they're on all the difficulties. Maybe the frequency of them is increased on higher difficulties. Sure, you get a decent amount of intel and a scientist/engineer, but it's a time-based mission and I've rarely been able to get out with more than four turns left. The extraction point is always close by, but then it's guaranteed to have several enemy pods on the way.
