So in my grand tradition of playing games 3-5 years after they are relevant, I just played Shadowrun: Returns and Dragonfall and had a lot of fun with them. The combat is a grind, but the story and characters are quite good. It was also my first introduction to this setting (or any setting like this) and I liked it quite a bit. I don't really like urban fantasy and cyberpunk is just okay, but for some reason the combination really works.

Despite having the same caffeine content, this "energy tea" is noticeably less potent than a normal cup of coffee. Must be the other chemicals in it.

Huh. Not what I was expecting.

I thought that "Talons of the Emperor" book they released last year was a mini-codex about the Custodes and Sisters of Silence.

But the Custodes are cool. Finally seeing them get off their asses is a good thing. There's only 10,000 of them however, and unlike regular Space Marines or even Primaris Marines, the Imperium can't make more, so they should be saved only for major battles. Once they're all gone, that's it.

Ok, I'm almost halfway through Mario Odyssey, and I have to say, the game is indeed fucking amazing and a must have for any Switch owner. If anyone here remembers that sense of wonder of getting a N64 for Christmas back in 1996 and popping in Mario 64 for the first time as a kid, that feeling is magnificently captured and permeates the entire game. Its just so much fun, so colorful, so creative, so masterful in its level design and gameplay. Its like pumping raw joy right into your veins. There's all kinds of references and callbacks to past Mario games, but it also does its own thing too. The capture mechanic truly is brilliant. You'll literally be discovering new things every couple of seconds. Personally, I prefer the Pro Controller, I'm old school like that, but the Joy Cons work great too, and indeed are easier to play the game with since there are some things that can be done much easier with the motion controls. A great mixture between pure fun and challenge for those who want to explore every inch, get every coin, and find every Power Moon.

In that case, try mate'.

Its an Argentinian tea that offers a similar rush to coffee, in a much more mellow way.

My recommendation is Adagio Teas Toasted, spiced Mate.

@Theo: Yeah, the lack of comedown period is quite nice, but the highs aren't as high. Which I suppose is the point. But coming down at night after like 6+ cups of coffee was oddly depressing.

Read that EA is refused to make a Rogue Squadron game when the developers of Rebel Galaxy gave them a pitch. Solid move there. Ignore the one good thing that people complimented when it comes to to Battlefront 2.

Oh god, that license is wasted on those cretins.

I may have boasted too soon. The winter gods struck back today with a vengeance. It was so fucking cold it killed my car battery. I had to pry the sucker out, get a friend to drive me to the local auto-store, buy a new battery for $130 bucks, and instal the new one. In what feels like arctic-tier cold. You win this round, gods of winter. You are indeed worthy foes.

Woke up this morning and saw two bright dots in the sky reallllllllly close together. Took my telescope out and found Jupiter and Mars right next to each other. In the same eye piece. Never saw that before and wanted to share with you. Just a fair warning, I've never used my smart phone for this before so they're not completely clear, but I brought you the two best pics.

As you've guessed, those small dots are Jupiter's moons.
