Don't think so, but in all but one of his previous appearances, Ghidorah has always been an alien kaiju. So I'm gonna assume this is still the case here, until it's said otherwise.

Well there is a chance we might see all of them even Zilla most likely as cameos (I doubt people will be pissed if Zilla shows up for a cameo) which would be good as it could make great film potential for future movies as how Humanity will adapt to have monsters going around something similar that we saw in Pacific Rim, like some will worship them, build walls to keep them out, build robots to fight them, etc. great potential really.

Well my guesses the first one is most likely Anguirus as for the second one it's either the Giant Spider or several of the Giant Mantises.

Hmm... true, there were also the Kamakuras (the giant mantises) and also Megaguirus (the giant dragonfly). The arthropod could be one of those. Or a swarm of them.

Uh. So apparently there was a Metro 2033 movie in the works, but it has been canned. Hallegedly because the studio and the writers had completely de-clawed the whole story and turned into "generic post-apocalyptic flick number 997".

It was gonna be set in Washingthon instead than Moskov, they planned to replace the communists and neo-nazi human bad guys with generic "post-apocalyptic evil tribes" to not "promote" negative ideologies, and to swap the Dark Ones with a random race of monsters to not have the main non-human thread to be a race of dark-skinned humanoids, because that might have been seen as racist. So the writer of the original novel and owner of the rights basically went "fuck this shit, I'm out" and walked away.

Hooray for politically correct media. I am so fucking tired of this crap, yet it's like there's a new case of it popping out every half a day. Good thing in this case, it results in one less terrible movie being made.

There wasn't a creepy fandom back then, or a bunch of discourse about whether Sonic was good or not. It was just something I loved, the first colorful world I ever stepped into that wasn't the shit one I've always been trapped in elsewise.

And now we're here.

I loved it when I was a kid. It'll always hold a special place in my heart, regardless of how good it was or wasn't, is or isn't.
