The fact that the prospect of playing as an old lady was the most excited i have been for the entire Ubisoft Press Conference (and Bethesda conference... and PC gaming conference...) should give a good litmus test for the overall excitement levels this E3.

Microsoft is winning, but only because, thus far, the feel like the only one playing.

SquareEnix and Nintendo need to save this thing, or this will go down in history as one of the worst E3's ever.

Yeah, the Ubisoft presentation was one of the most dull and "business as usual" things I've ever seen at an E3.

And I skipped the PC one completely, because I expected most of it to be Epic Games fellating itself, and from what I've heard I was correct.

Doesn't look like any of the outlandish predictions in my list is gonna come true. Unless Nintendo has some trick up their sleeves.

But let's be honest... there's a good chance thei're gonna talk about Pokemon for 40 minutes, then scroll through a bunch of third party stuff and end with the new Smash DLC reveal, and that'll be it for them too.

No way. Pokemon will have a large segment for sure, but they have multiple other games releasing this year.

Animal Crossing, Luigis Mansion, Mario Maker, Links Awakening, and thats just what we know about.

Yeah, trouble with that is those people I'd need to play with I'd need to already have a rapport with.
I don't really like jumping in too much and being too friendly with people in terms of jumping into MP experiences with them, especially stuff where I might need to rely on them not being a cock-gargling thundercunt in order to play as, well, aforementioned cock-gargling thundercunts.
I try and play with people I at least kinda like first if I am the one dong the initiating as I don't like having my time wasted and people are just insufferable a lot of the time.

My selection process is usually done before we'd start playing together, for example. DnD especially I'd need to at least like you to be able to play with you in that as I need to know where the character you're playing as begins and the person ends.

Ah fuck....

Pokemon Sword and Shield is limiting its total Pokemon.

You can only have what is in the Galar pokedex, not the full roster.

There is A LOT of chaff in the full roster of over 800, so that's not the worst thing, I just hope my favorites make it in.

Banjo-Kazooie confirmed for Smash, fuck yes! Not so excited about Dragon Quest, last thing I wanted is more swordsmen, but I understand the reasons why Nintendo wanted that.

Luigi's Mansion 3 looks like a lot of fun.

Breath of the Wild 2 in development, with it looking like Link and Zelda working together and Ganondorf being restored to his Gerudo form? Sign me up.
