If there is a Microcenter in your area, check there first. Prices are usually straight lower and there's a $30 discount for buying a chip and board together.

hmm, my set up isn't gaming but audio processing. I need to rely on my cores in the future as I get bigger and bigger projects. I don't think I rely on speed as much as processing power on all my Win 10 devices. I'll keep an eye out for this.
