That was just the easiest place I found it that wasn't GAME.
As a GameStop affiliate one can guess why for physical goods.

I really wish Acer monitors had a better naming scheme, Google is awful at actually finding the one I'm looking for.
Cyberpower and Overclockers are the only ones I've really heard about, I'm not sure what the shipping and "assembly" costs would be like though. The first decent PC I had was actually built by someone local, you could try looking up classifieds or maybe on Google.
I'm in the process of replacing my XFX 7850 myself, maybe I'll be so lucky as to find a 1080 on the cheap on Friday.

Oh nice, it even has a Swedish site. Thanks. It's a real pain in the ass to try and make Google understand that I want sites that can send custom built PCs and not just components. In Swedish.

Indeed, although it made me spend more time tapping the screen than playing the game. Is there a replacement somewhere in there?

As far as i can tell, the classic method is the only way. Which to give you a comparison. Classic method used to take me about 5 hours per Pokemon. Super Training took 1 hour.

I think I heard about some training in the PC box, but I don't know if it replaces Super Training.

Aye. That its coming is not the question. That's only a matter of time.
The question is whether it will actually be good and true to the series. Because when it comes to Metroid, Nintendo has its head up its own ass. They've proven that with the last two entries in the franchise, and forgetting/ignoring Metroid’s 25th and 30th anniversaries.
Samus deserves better.

Nah, there's a big list of search engines/similar services that have built in bot accounts on this forum software, this is one of them. Google and Bing check us often because we're so small.

I'm saving up for a new computer, since the only thing in my current rig that isn't horribly obsolete is the power supply. I'd love to put it together myself, since I have the know-how, but I don't have a single decent spot in my entire house to do it on.
It'll take about four months to save up for the build I have in mind (that is if nothing bad/unplanned happens, which I bet will happen because it always does), but I reckon that it'll be worth it. Not to mention that I don't have any big games in sight in the near future.

Measurement of Impulsive Thrust from a Closed Radio-Frequency Cavity in Vacuum
It's official: NASA's peer-reviewed EM Drive paper has finally been published
[["After months of speculation and leaked documents, NASA's long-awaited EM Drive paper has finally been peer-reviewed and published. And it shows that the 'impossible' propulsion system really does appear to work. The NASA Eagleworks Laboratory team even put forward a hypothesis for how the EM Drive could produce thrust – something that seems impossible according to our current understanding of the laws of physics.
In case you've missed the hype, the EM Drive, or Electromagnetic Drive, is a propulsion system first proposed by British inventor Roger Shawyer back in 1999. Instead of using heavy, inefficient rocket fuel, it bounces microwaves back and forth inside a cone-shaped metal cavity to generate thrust. According to Shawyer's calculations, the EM Drive could be so efficient that it could power us to Mars in just 70 days. But, there's a not-small problem with the system. It defies Newton's third law, which states that everything must have an equal and opposite reaction. According to the law, for a system to produce thrust, it has to push something out the other way. The EM Drive doesn't do this. Yet in test after test it continues to work. Last year, NASA's Eagleworks Laboratory team got their hands on an EM Drive to try to figure out once and for all what was going on. And now we finally have those results.
The new peer-reviewed paper is titled "Measurement of Impulsive Thrust from a Closed Radio-Frequency Cavity in Vacuum", and has been published online as an open access 'article in advance' in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA)’s Journal of Propulsion and Power. It'll appear in the December print edition. It's very similar to the paper that was leaked online earlier this month and, most notably, shows that the drive does indeed produce 1.2 millinewtons per kilowatt of thrust in a vacuum: "Thrust data from forward, reverse, and null suggested that the system was consistently performing at 1.2 ± 0.1 mN/kW, which was very close to the average impulsive performance measured in air. A number of error sources were considered and discussed." To put that into perspective, the super-powerful Hall thruster generates force of 60 millinewtons per kilowatt, an order of magnitude more than the EM Drive. But the Hall thruster requires propellants, and that extra weight could offset the higher thrust, the team concludes. Light sails on the other hand, which are currently the most popular form of zero-propellant propulsion, only generate force up to 6.67 micronewtons per kilowatt – two orders of magnitude less than NASA's EM Drive, says the paper. But the team makes it clear that they also weren't attempting to optimise performance in these tests – all they were doing was trying to prove whether or not the drive really works. So it's likely that the EM Drive could get a lot more efficient still. When it comes to how the drive actually works without messing up the laws of physics, that's a little less clear.
It's not the focus of this paper, but the team does offer a hypothesis: "[The] supporting physics model used to derive a force based on operating conditions in the test article can be categorised as a nonlocal hidden-variable theory, or pilot-wave theory for short." Pilot-wave theory is a slightly controversial interpretation of quantum mechanics. It's pretty complicated stuff, but basically the currently accepted Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics states that particles do not have defined locations until they are observed. Pilot-wave theory, on the other hand, suggests that particles do have precise positions at all times, but in order for this to be the case, the world must also be strange in other ways – which is why many physicists have dismissed the idea. But in recent years, the pilot-wave theory has been increasing in popularity, and the NASA team suggests that it could help explain how the EM Drive produces thrust without appearing to propel anything in the other direction. "If a medium is capable of supporting acoustic oscillations, this means that the internal constituents were capable of interacting and exchanging momentum," the team writes. "If the vacuum is indeed mutable and degradable as was explored, then it might be possible to do/extract work on/from the vacuum, and thereby be possible to push off of the quantum vacuum and preserve the laws of conservation of energy and conservation of momentum." Of course, this is just one hypothesis, based on one round of tests. There's a lot more work to be done before we can say for sure whether the EM Drive is really producing thrust – the team notes they that more research is needed to eliminate the possibility that thermal expansion could somehow be skewing the results. And even once that's confirmed, we'll then need to figure out exactly how the system works. The scientific community is also notoriously unconvinced about the propulsion system – just yesterday a Motherboard article on the EM Drive was deleted by the moderators of the popular subreddit r/Physics because they "consider the EM Drive to be unscientific". But is the first peer-reviewed research ever published on the EM Drive, which firmly takes it out of the realm of pseudoscience into a technology that's worth taking skeptically, but seriously. The next step for the EM Drive is for it to be tested in space, which is scheduled to happen in the coming months, with plans to launch the first EM Drive having been made back in September."]]

Like most flus it's danger has less to do with money or even availability of medical care and more to do with one's current health. The flu tends to kill children and the elderly most often because the strain on the body causes a cascade effect that they don't have the physical reserves and immune systems to recover from.

Why cant we have a disease that kills neo-nazis, or people that talk too loud on their phone in restaurants.
Just once.
Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
@Drag: I was reading over that, and what people smarter than I said it all meant. The gist is fascinating. The potential reason the drive works, even more so. Fingers crossed on that one.
@Tairis: It's kind of surprising how deadly a flu still is. Lost a good friend when I was a kid to one. I've had a fantastic immune system so far in life, but the the few times I've had a flu, it's just about wiped me out. Worst one was so bad I couldn't walk from couch to bathroom on my own power. Then as an adult, I can't recall having had one. Which is probably a bad sign for when I do get one...

FUCKING EM DRIVE
FUCKING COOLEST SCIENCE
ITS LIKE FALLOUT 4 IT JUST WORKS
AAAHHHHHHHHHHHH
The estimates I've heard for how long it would take humanity to develop FTL based on the curve of how much speed we've managed to achieve as a species put it at 3000 CE. And we might of just fucking figured it out in 2016.
At least this year isn't a total wash.

Well yea, if you hit the right strain it can kill even a healthy adult, but its rare and even then its usually less the flu itself that kills you and more the fact that the flu opens you up to secondary infections, then you end up with pneumonia. Downward spiral in all that.
In general, though, we over-react the named flus because we live in a culture of media hysteria that are more than willing to stir fear with pseudo-science in the name of ratings and page views.

D'aawww.
Also when is the earliest you can catch a pokemon in the new game?
Is there a traditional "go to the first town and come back" fetch quest or is it right form the off?
Because...yeah, I am gonna be a scrub and pokemon bank a fresh starter from Yellow and X so I have one of each type to start a decently varied team until I can catch a new one for each, save mt Sun/Moon starter.
On the other game I'll try a "all sun and moon starter" game.

You wont be able to use Pokemon Bank with Pokemon S&M (HAHAHAHA) till January, so dont bother.
Besides, its not about having one of each type, its about making sure your move set is varied. Thats why Lucario is terrifying. No matter what switches into it, it will take heavy damage

(I didn't clock the S&M thing 'till now, never thought of the abbreviation.
Well I mainly wanted to try them all out at the same time.
Plus STAB is a hell of a bonus.
Well, Lucario was on my list of transfers once I get to a level to justify him being in. Mine is a level 35 one I think and I have no ditto for a certain breeding. I can't remember the field types or whatever the new breeding qualities are so I still try to go straight ditto breeding.

What it do?
See, that's the crazy thing. They built this thing, and it projects particles at FTL speeds, which it shouldn't be able to do, but it does.
The short version is, they've basically discovered a way to have us move through space that is orders of magnitude faster than what we've been using, with the potential to go even faster once they refine the design, all without actually producing any exhaust. They plan on testing it in space in the next few months, and if it works, we might be looking at spacecraft capable of getting us to Mars in a matter of weeks in the next few years.
The part that makes it really freaky is that according to preliminary tests, it's actually producing a warp bubble that seems to distort space and is reducing the travel time of light around it to the point that its breaking the light barrier. If that's true, we might be looking at the precursor to genuine FTL.
Which, you know, until we made this thing, we didn't think was possible without the collective energy provided by the entire mass of Jupiter.

Let's hope is not a ruse or leads to something cathastrophic. It'd be so incredibly awesome if we end up getting a new Space Race within our lifetimes. Especially since FTL travel with quite a few eath-like exoplanets just a few light years away... there's some concrete chance of finally finding some life and not just rocks and gas!
