Also, if you think you don't have antibodies, that is actually not what BoJo wants. He was all-in on herd immunity, so he'd want many asymptomatic cases to prove he handled it well.
TBH I don't know what he actually wants these days.

Will going out to take the test potentially expose you to the virus in the first place?
Is knowing something that is ultimately irrelevant worth going to a crowded spot where you may be exposed to something you never actually?
Well it's an in-home kit according to the letter, so no need to even go out.
I do agree that going to a testing centre is going to open one up to a more likely scenario of catching it, same as going to hospital.
My main concern is that IF I take the test and IF I have antibodies then my dad (of whom I live with) will assume he has had it too and will be even more cavalier about going out and potentially spreading it to others. He helps neighbours and sees people (I mean he's even spoken about reusing bloody disposable masks when the damn mandatory masks come into effect in shops over here, which makes me scream!!!!) and if he has not had it, somehow, then he may get it and, well he'd die because his heart's not great and he has inhalers.
So, yeah, maybe not knowing is better because I can have a little bit more ability to get him to actually be safe than not.
