Man, looking at Origin's deals today annoys me. If I had waited two more days I could've gotten the deluxe edition of BF1 for £2 less than I paid for the standard edition, c'est la vie. At least I got all the DLC for Anno 2205 finally.

On another note, Jesus. I'm glad I learnt about EVGA's colossal fuckup with their 1080 line before actually buying one. Nothing like spending £650 on an IED, MSI here I come I guess.

Not a year I feel particularly thankful for, but I'm trying to remember the few, but significant, events this year that were best.

I got my cats, I got my house, I still have my significant other, and despite the horrible loss of my father, I inherited a rather large head-start on my retirement funds when I'm of age.

That was from War World Hulk, which was basically the big payback moment after the far worse Civil War comic book event (to which the movie with the same name luckly has almost NOTHING to spare).

Basically, about an year prior Hulk got a power-boost thanks to an Hydra gamma-bomb, went crazy and almost leveled down Las Vegas. IronMan, DocStrange, Reed Richards and a few others super-genius that form a secret groud names... not joking... the Illuminati decided he was too dangerous to keep around, and found a way to blast him into space. THey intended for him to go on "garden planet" where he could be left alone and be happy. He ended up on a Jhon Carter-ish dystopian world where they had the technology to keep him under control, was sold as a gladiator and eventually leads and uprising becomes an hero, and get marry and bang an hot grey-skinned warrior princess. Then one of his followers that wants him to destroy everything makes the spaceship he came from overload, and blow up the majority of the planet. Hulk loses his wife (that was pregnant) loses his new home and, angrier than he's ever been and he blames the Illimunati. Beats the shit out of literally EVERYONE to get to them, and once he finds out he was betrayed overloads, reverts back into Bruce Banner and goes in a coma for months, or something.

So yeah, it was actually was of the few cases where the whole "Where was him when that shit's been going on?!" was actually a major plotpoint.

In general though I do agree that's something that irritates me about comics as well.

Oh well, just wanted to show a picture of what happens when Doc Strange doesn't hold back. There was also that one time that the Avengers were attacked by a few dozen supervillains at once and he single-handedly defeated all of them in one swoop. Had to use a shitton of dark magic and rest for weeks afterwards though, but he can definately do that kind of stuff.
