Looked fantastic, felt fantastic. I want those type of scenes back, as plentiful as they were in The Witcher 3. While I understand that CD Projekt Red wanted full immersion, I think those cut scenes made for better storytelling.► Show SpoilerIt felt damn good not going to lie, CDPR is still top of the pile for creating those scenes. Personally I've really enjoyed the 1st person perspective, especially with the conversation system. I'm sick of same old same old 3rd person open world games at this point.
Well, I want them back, but I think both perspectives are totally valid. ^^
Now, more story spoilers, because I just watched the bad ending (the one Theo apparently got).

Turns out, the nomad ending is even better than what I thought. In the bad ending, it is made clear that Yorinobu Arasaka wanted to destroy Arasaka (the corporation) from the inside and end corpo dominance over the world by starting a fifth corporate war and we actually prevented that from happening AND we helped bring Saburo back from the dead. <facepalm> BUT in the nomad ending, Hanako gets killed by him (presumably) and he assumes full control, meaning he probably will succeed at what he was planning to do. So, yeah, nomad ending all the fucking way.
Honestly, even the "V as a legendary merc" ending is depressing in its own way, since V is about to die from the chip giving out, he loses his romantic partner and all he has left is his reputation. The "give Johnny your body" ending is more hopeful, but of course V is dead. So, yeah, go nomads!
