No X-Men or Fantastic Four characters. If you liked playing as Wolverine, Gambit, Doom, etc., you're fresh out of luck. But this does open the door for characters like Groot, Ultron, and Vision, I suppose. And since Disney/Marvel made that deal with Sony, I imagine Spider-Man will be able to return.

Well, most of the people that are now in the MCU including Doctor Strange, Thor and Rocket Racoon were already added to the roster of the last game. And the chances to ever get in it the Fantastic Four were incredibly small anyway, because it's a matter of "all of them or none of them" with that team. But this way we're losing Deadpool, the X-Men and any alien or cosmic hero that is part of the "copyright package" Fox still owns (and still doesn't know what the fuck to do with).

I can easily see Ultron replacing Magneto as the M. Bison Counterpart, Star-Lord replacing Deadpool as the match for Dante, and if we're getting the people from the Tv series too we might get stuff like the Punisher and Daredevil facing the Resident Evil grunts.

So yeah... not sot bad overally.

Well, good news. Assuming nothing goes wrong this time, I'll finally get my four impacted wisdom teeth carved out of my head come late December when I fly down south. Woohoo! Constant jaw pressure, shifting teeth, and related pains should disappear at long fucking last.

My narrow jaw has been such a pain in the ass in that way. Incredibly slow baby tooth loss, had to get a half dozen or so yanked when I was in my late teens so they could surgically bring down the adult teeth so I could get braces. My second molars still aren't fully in. Ridiculous.

My narrow jaw has been such a pain in the ass in that way. Incredibly slow baby tooth loss, had to get a half dozen or so yanked when I was in my late teens so they could surgically bring down the adult teeth so I could get braces. My second molars still aren't fully in. Ridiculous.

Ah, the joyful memories of having to tighten my braces every month and making eating anything solid a painful nightmare.

The braces were awful. Had to get surgery first to get the teeth out, then spacers to create gaps, then the braces for a couple years, as well as these metal rods hooked to the braces to force my jaw forward into alignment. Pain, pain, pain.

Still have to wear a retainer daily, because of constant shift. But my retainer's snapped in half and cracked on the top, and it's quite old, but a new one would run over $500. Healthcare's a luxury, folks.

I also have a retainer behind my upper row and it's pretty much just glued on there. Naturally, that glue (or cement if you want to be technical about it) degrades over time and I have lost count of how many time it's just cracked and I'd be force to pay to grind it down and have it re-cemented. It's more of an inconvenience, but it's not exactly cheap either.

Still better than the braces I had, though. That fucking thing would snap constantly and cut up my tongue in the process.

@Mob: Those would be handy skills to have. I only know the basics, pressure on a wound, tourniquet when absolutely necessary and remove after 30 minutes if possible, Heimlich, that deal. Though I imagine I could figure out stitching easily enough.

@SWM: Ahhh, the oral cuts. So many gouges and slices from those fucking things. The jaw device was hooked up by interlocking rods, so if I opened wide enough, they'd come apart. So naturally I managed to do this accidentally and one of the rods went right into the inside of my cheek. Fun times.

I had braces for a few years, but never had any problems with them. Had all my wisdom teeth taken out back in high school.

Well... I know I'm not getting Shakespeare in a game that can't even spell the word "Combat" right xD

But even for MK standards, all that MKX's story was just a "look at how cool the nu characters are!" with actually interesting developments like the civil war in Outworld and Scorpion and Sub-Zero taking back their clans and their lives barely touched upon and I wasn't really a fan of the "now most of the klassik kombatants are gonna be evil undead monsters!" thing.

But like I said, there is still alot to enjoy in that game, and Capcom could really use to take a clue or two from Netherrealm when they make their next game, wheter or not is MvC4 or something else.

I see that Titanfall 2 is also having an free to play weekend. Which is great news as I haven't picked it up yet. Been kinda wanting to buy it, but held back for various reasons. Mostly because the beta really rubbed me off in the wrong way and also just haven't been feeling as if I would really play it all that much if I did pick it up. Althought I did really enjoy the first one for quite some while. Not sure if I would really enjoy playing it again, even if its the sequal.

This is an old intro for an Advent calendar TV show called Alletiders Jul (which translate into Great Christmas) it aired in 1994 is about well Christmas. Basically it's about two nisser (Just read about them here, because it is complicated to even try to translate the danish word for it) called Guttenborg and his new apprentice Pyrus, an archivist called Birger Bertramsen and his new assistent called Josefine Brahe (who don't know about their little friends).

Pyrus accidentally magics away Christmas and close to everyone forgets about it expect for Guttenborg, Pyrus, Bertamsen and Josefine. At the same time down with Guttenborg and Pyrus, a mysterious woman appears and she doesn't know who she is. Now it's up for them all to go and rediscover Christmas by reading (the humans), going into books and talk with historical figures, so everyone can have a great Christmas and that's basically the premise.

Over all it's a good show, some of the effects are dated, but it's well acted and kids learn a little about Christmas and where it comes from and how it came to be like it is today.
