Yeesh. Bodes ill, whatever does come out is probably going to be radically rebuilt.

Though the original VtM was janky as could be, and in that was part of the charm. Suspect that sort of passionate effort isn't quite what we're looking at here, granted.

What's a good RTS that is slower paced that you can put on Easy and just sort of play with your brain operating at 20%? I like idly building stuff while I'm mostly listening to a book but I've done it so much with Age Mythology and Age of Empire II & III that I'm pretty sick of those games.

I don't really want some kind of full on "build a civilization" sim type game because I'm just looking for something I can mess with for like an hour at a time and then scrap.

RTS works good for this but most of them force you to focus on speed and offense and I specifically want to play slow and defensively so I don't have to really think about what I'm doing.

Hmmm... maybe one of the park builders by Frontier, so Planet Coaster, P. Zoo and Jurassic World Evolution. The latter is probably the easiest one to pick up, as it was dumbed down quite a bit to make it more console-friendly compared to the other two. All 3 have sandox modes.

There's also a bunch of fun space colony builders like Planetbase and Surviving Mars that CAN be challenging, but at low difficulty aren't really too hard to mess with.

If you were looking for something specifically involving armies duking it out tho, I actually haven't played one of those in quite a while, so I suppose other people could give you better tips in that regard. Probably my last big RTS binge was when a few years ago I've played through all of Starcraft in one fell swoop.... very fun experience, but by the end I was rather exausted by it all I must say xP

EDIT - Derp, I'm actually playing Battlefleet Gothic Armada right now, so I guess that's an RTS too lol. But I wouldn't recommend it as a chill one.

GPU shortage is getting worse, somehow. 3060s just came out, not a good card at all, but given even old cards are being bought out and scalped, it'd do in a pinch. Sold out immediately, lost the raffle on Newegg, and now scalpers have them up for sale at 400% MSRP.

I hope you'll also get the Pfizer for the second one. I'm not too sure about the "whatever we have on hand" policy that seems to be the rule overseas, and chances are in the UK the Astrazeneca is going to be the most common.

We are still on oldsters, first responders, and medical workers here and I think the next batch up is school teachers. I could maybe have gotten in on the "first responders" round because we are technically considered as such because we provide tech services to fire and police during emergencies but I didn't try. I think I am low enough chance of getting it that it makes more sense to just wait until supply is better. I am borderline a hermit. I never go anywhere but work and home and the space I work in is completely closed off from everybody else.

Paid my taxes like a good boy.

Felt ridiculous going through hundreds of pages of kinds of income and deductions. Think I saw something about income related to running a fishery at some point, which is very important I suppose.

Thankfully, as I made a pittance last year, I owed very little. That I owed anything at all is comical, like a poor child getting a bag for candy for his birthday, then being made to share it. "We're all in this together, ya bum!"

Vaccine: My grandmother's due for her second shot today, so that'll be a relief for all of us. Though she's physically the heartiest of all the women in the family, sadly. I have no intention of getting mine until everyone else is done. It helps that my head is high enough to avoid aerosol spray from you shorties, ohohoho.

But it's been mildly gratifying to see people who are very low risk cases, and have limited contact with others, passing on their entitled doses for others' sake.

GPUs: Yeah, I decided I had to get the new rig going the day after the 3060-tis came out. There was an hour window I could've got one, if my lazy ass was a bit more focused. C'est la vie.

Yeah I will get Pfizer as my second dose.
Over here they're not mixing them as much.

Apparently the Astrazeneca one is pretty rare according to the circle of people I know.
Pretty much all I know have gotten Pfizer.
But, it's a small sample size so... yeah.

All I got in terms of side effects was the sore arm and a bruise.
