Cryptos on a hot run right now. Nearly broken even with what little I put into it, but for transaction fees. Not sure why, thought there was news of some regulations coming down, but hey. A wise man would bail out now with most of my money back. I am not a wise man, however.

Was a fairly productive day tho. Went to the DMV, after a month wait, to get an ID. My last one expired in 2018. To my great surprise, not a single fat black lady serviced me, which is a first. Plus I was in and out in about half an hour.

Got a nice raise too. Work's been rough this year, anemic, but not as bad as last year. So staying ahead of inflation is more than welcome. For everyone else, hope you guys agitate for a raise, rather than eating this forced pay cut.

Well in the UK things are trotting along smoothly as they can.
People are still feeling the Brexit fallout affecting supply lines here and there and covid is disrupting things okay. Thankfully my town is very close to a port town so we're able to get stuff relatively easily if needs be.

I have had the absolute worst luck with vehicles the last month. My old bomb of a truck (1985 Chevy) kept stalling because of some issue with the fuel system. Nobody much works on carburetors anymore so I had to get the thing towed to a shop that specializes in classic vehicles. (Pretty funny to see my old bomb sitting around with like sleek 1960s Corvettes and redone 1950s Power Wagons and such). Those guys work at the speed of smell (whatever they apparently do good work) so I'm driving the back up vehicle for a few weeks...until it also stalls because apparently it has a bad battery. I was able to limp that thing to the dealership and get it patched up in a day or so. I got called in to physical work this week because half the rest of the department is in San Antonio for some training. So I go out to start it Monday morning and it's dead as a doornail again. Get it towed back to the dealership and apparently this brand new battery is faulty so they need to replace it again. I had to take an Uber to my mom's place to get her car because she is currently recovering from a foot surgery and can't drive anyway.

Anyway, I was able to get the bomb back yesterday and the backup car is supposed to be ready tomorrow. I have a really chill boss but that was a fun one to explain. "Uh, I'm going to be an hour or two late because my first vehicle is in the shop and my second vehicle that died the other day and was repaired has died again and so I need to try to get an Uber at 7 am to go get this third vehicle. Sorry."

I would just like actual proper ground customization and not the limited kind we had in the first one.

So long as management stuff doesn't get too plate spinny I'll be good by it.

They mentioned improved terraforming in one of their livestreams or dev updates on the Frontier's forum. So I'm hopeful. And it's been confirmed that the game's gonna have 5-6 different biomes rather than just being stuck to the default Costa Rica jungle. But it's likely never gonna be as flexible as the Planet Zoo terraforming, since JWE needs to be simplified to remain playable on consoles, too. Good thing there's mods...
