Hmm sooo... Doom, a venomized Spiderman2099, a Hound-Wolverine, a "baby-Thanos", a Destroyer/Crimson Dynamo mashup, a Dark Phoenyx Destiny and a Goblin Ghost Rider.
Kinda neat, but I'm REALLY getting tired of multiverse stuff, since they seem unable to get things working on even a single continuity.

Re: Animation and Comics
Finished my current anime binge. I've went through all the 3 current seasons of Overlord and all of Stein's Gate.
Overlord, like I said after seeying the first season, remains quite enjoyable. The writers clearly were aware of the overpowered as fuck nature of their lead, so the following two seasons actually focus on the people and factions outside of the court of the Overlord himself, and how his slow but relentless conquering of the land is impacting their lives. Some of the highlights were a whole storyarc involving a tribal species of lizardmen managing to put up enough of a good fight to earn the Overlord and his lackey's respect, which saves them from being whiped out, and a classic good princess falling in love of her young and noble bodyguard, that gets flipped upside down when it turns out the cute princess is secretly a sadistic yandere that's manipulating things from the shadows. Tho the latter is still unresolved, so we'll have to see where it goes in Season4 and beyond.
Stein's Gate...
Yeah.
I don't know why the fuck I've waited so long to watch it. But I'm glad I finally did. Didn't get through this much feeelz since Madoka Magika... which also involved time travel and time-loops lol And when you think you're done... here comes Stein's Gate 0 managing to cram a whole other season worth of it in the story, exploring one of the hinted at possible timelines, but still tiying everything back togheter at the end.
I'm not saying anything more, just in case someone wants to see it and still hasn't. If you feel at all curious about it... watch it. Period. Christopher Nolan my ass, it is unironically one of the best time travel stories I've ever seen or read.

Ultra Ego? Hahaha! Vegeta has literally weaponized his ego. I love it. Goku turns his thinking brain off to go Ultra Instinct; Vegeta just doubles down even harder.
So Granolah is pretty much Sasuke: he has the backstory, the obsession with vengeance, and the Sharingan eyes.

So there's this rumor floating about... seemingly from the ComicsGate side of the Internet, so take it with a huge grain of salt. But it's big enough to bring it up.
Apparently DC is planning to kill off Superman/Kal'El for good. Because it's getting harder and harder to keep control of the character without paying the heirs of the original creators of the character, who were royally and infamously screwed up by DC, at bay without it costing huge amount of money. So thei're gonna kill Kal, and replace him with his son Jon Kent, since he's based on the original Superman but not having being made by Siegel and Shuster directly it would let them keep A Superman around.
And then thei're gonna try to pull the "muh diversity" card to shield themselves from criticism for killing Clark, and make Jon Kent gay.
A few years ago I would have found it laughable, but given the current state of comics... I find it depressingly believeble.

"King Spawn #1 hits 497K in pre-orders - absolutely monstrous numbers!"
"The upcoming first issue of King #Spawn from comics legend Todd McFarlane has already broken records for Image Comics, becoming the publisher's best-selling monthly title in 25 years with nearly 500,000 copies already sold!"
"All hail the king. Todd McFarlane's first new monthly Spawn book since 1992 is about to have a record-setting debut. King Spawn #1 from Image Comics, which hits comic book stores Aug. 25, has netted nearly 500,000 orders, the largest new superhero monthly comic book launch since 1996 (based on industry standard non-returnable, non-retailer exclusive sales). That's bigger than any DC Comics monthly superhero launch in that same time span, including Batman. It also outpaces all of Marvel's superhero monthly first issues in the same time frame, according to an Image press release."
"In all honesty, it was a surprise. I'm usually pretty good at calculating what's going to happen, so I was thinking that if we could get to about 300K, that would be a home run. [The pre-order] sales just kept going and going and going. Even in the last day, we added nearly 100K, so I was like 'WHAT.' For us, all we care about is what the retailers order - once we got that number, we're locked and loaded and got to get the book to the printers. We got to put it on the press and go. Yeah, it was a shocking number and all the sudden puts it into rarified air. Because now, it's not "oh god, look at that," like Spawn Universe being the biggest for Image Comics in the 21st Century. This one is the biggest since 1994 when we were in our infancy. Now, you get to the point where you go, "okay, over the last 25 years, what books have sold half a million copies?" You can count the number on your fingers. And some of them kind of tricked their way to those numbers. You start going "they did it, but that was a trick. That one is a licensed product, so it's not even a company." I can make the argument other than Action Comics #1000, there hasn't been an ongoing book that's sold like it. There's one single issue I could argue. That's the only one that's outsold it now. A couple had bigger numbers, but they tricked their way to it - and I try not to use those tricks. It basically means, they can't show me single Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Panther, whatever book, that has sold as many as King Spawn #1. I took down the Avengers, right? Over 25 years and thousands of characters, who sold more than half a million copies?"
"TODD MCFARLANE SAYS 'MARVEL AND DC MAY HAVE DONE US A FAVOR' AS KING SPAWN #1 HITS HISTORIC SALES MARK"
"Todd McFarlane on why King Spawn #1 sales are so high and what Spawn can do that Marvel and DC can't."
"The upcoming King Spawn by Todd McFarlane and Image Comics has already achieved record-breaking sales numbers ahead of its release."

"Today, BOOM! Studios has revealed a new limited event series is coming this December called Power Rangers Universe. The event will feature art by Simone Ragazzoni and it will delve into the origins of the Power Rangers.
“From the very start of our partnership with Hasbro to bring the Power Rangers to life on the comic book page, we always knew that we wanted to explore the many morphinominal teams and worlds in the POWER RANGERS UNIVERSE,” said Dafna Pleban, Senior Editor, BOOM! Studios. “Now, thanks to the incredible success of the ongoing series and the enthusiastic support of fans and readers, we’re realizing that years-long dream by delving into the untold stories that fans have been clamouring for!”
What is the true origin of the Phantom Ranger? And what is his connection to the Morphin Grid? From the moment he first appeared 24 years ago, fans have wondered about the origins of the powerful and mysterious Phantom Ranger and how they tie to the greater Power Rangers Universe. Questions which have never been answered—until now—in the game-changing series event that no Power Rangers fan can afford to miss!"

"Dark Horse announces ‘Hellboy: The Bones of Giants’ #1 adaptation. In ‘Hellboy: The Bones of Giants’ it’s Hellboy who wields Mjollnir. Really! Today, Dark Horse Comics has revealed the new four-issue series Hellboy: The Bones of Giants is set to release this November. If the name sounds familiar, that’s because it’s an adaptation of the novel by Mike Mignola and Christopher Golden by the same name. The Hellboy series will be drawn by Barbarian Lord creator Matt Smith and featuring colors by Chris O’Halloran and lettering by Clem Robins. Look for it in comic book shops on November 3, 2021."
