So far I've gotten nothing yet, going to keep it that way, even if the stress kills me first.
Dad thinks I am going overboard, making him stay in the living room, doors closed, spraying down the air after he goes to the loo, wiping shit down with alcohol wipes, bringing him is food, etc.
But I am just so damn paranoid at this point that it keeps me sane to not lower my barriers and get it myself, even if I'd just be having cold symptoms (which for me is bad because my cold symptoms usually go straight to pneumonia....).
For my dad, it was a terrible headache and being very tired for a week or so. For my mother, she was laid out with cold symptoms for over a week. For me, it was a day and a half of congestion and feeling off. Weirdly enough, my brother was the only one fully vaccinated, he had the worst of it, though he may have been being dramatic, given his, ah, personality type. Was distressing to see my father nap on the job though. One of those little moments where you realize your parents are mortal.
It is important to keep your spirits up, yes, so _reasonable_ measures to reduce stress and panic are good for you. But not to the point of making you fearful. You know? Whatever keeps your mind healthy, without making it sick, that sort of thing. So cleaning, sterilizing, distance, all good, unless it's stressing you out.

My small livestock will include goats. The image of a cold Xmas morning with the whole family sitting around the tree sipping warm beverages while the family goat is staring at us through the window and screaming it's head off, I love it so much.
Seem to be pretty foolproof to raise too. One lady was saying she only cleans the hen house twice a year, because she throws a certain kind of saw dust into it that binds with the droppings to neutralize the "hot" fertilizer into something unscented and usable in the garden.
Heh. Goats would be easier than cows by far. That and idyllic, comedic, family moments.

Unrelated, but I installed Pokemon Go on my phone. Since I have new workboots for this year, I need to break them in, and I find cardio interminable. But having any sort of motivation to get up and out is working better than I expected. Haven't roamed too far yet, legs are still unused to distance walking, but I'm getting there. Nice to have little milestones to aim for, things to engage me instead of having to be alone with my thoughts.
