Episode one of Prehistoric Planet is out and it was excellent. Both visually and from a scientific standpoint, at least as far as I know. The only big mistake I could spot is the oversized Mosasaurus, but then they actually take the time to show it act like a real animal and not just some bloodthirsty monster.

Episode one of Prehistoric Planet is out and it was excellent

Out of all the T-rex designs I've laid my eyes upon over my many years, from movies to books to comics to documentaries to video games and everything in-between, running the whole gambit from currently up-to-date scientifically accurate portrayals to old-school throwbacks to just operating under a Rule of Cool factor, Prehistoric Planet's Rex... just might be my new favorite. I really love it.
