Should we all cancel our pre-orders of ME:A now? :p
If you pre-ordered already that was your first mistake.

Zero Suit Rosalina wrote:I haven't pre-ordered the game myself either. I was just poking fun at Vol because one of his previous post.
Tbh I don't care if people pre-order it or not. It's people who are buying that stupid fucking super deluxe edition of the game. People who are buying because they won't to "support" The game are by far the stupidest.
I have a feeling that most of the people don't even know it's just giving you MP boosters.

Hello, Brainiac.
Vol wrote:Do they ever fully explain how Big Daddies (Bioshock) or Handymen are made? The latter is easy to infer, but the former, all I can recall is a line about grafting skin and organs, which is incredibly vague.

I mean, obviously, you don't need to lay it out every time, and the mystery is part of the barbarism in some cases, but c'mon. Macabre minds want to know.

Dragaros wrote:Sounds like they're basically re-doing the End Times story from Warhammer Fantasy where Chaos destroyed everything. Not only is that lame because they're copying and pasting, but it makes no sense from a lore perspective since the 40k Chaos Gods like things as they are and are smart enough to know if they engulf the whole galaxy in the Eye they're only screwing themselves in the long run. There are better ways to make Abaddon a threat again than having him do what Archaon did.
Azint wrote:The only concrete details on the Big Daddies is that they are actually flayed alive before donning the suit, and then they are steamed to fuse with it before the suit is welded completely shut. Also, I distinctly remember that station in the final act that does something funny to your vocal chords to enable those whale calls.
Songbird was inspired by the Big Daddy in-universe, so the procedure to create him was also very similar. If you recall from the DLC, Songbird's limbs are entirely prosthetic, so that colossal torso of his houses whatever no good that was done to him.
Remember Bioshock 2? Remember the Big Sisters, or Gil Alexander? Now that was a fun trip.

Vol wrote:Do you recall when they say that? From memory, they were heavily spliced, hypnotized, and their skin and organs were "transplanted" into the suit in a permanent sense. Though the Alpha series didn't get that part. Then something with the vocal chords, yeah.
