But they would make for a decent counter to the Genestealer Cult, since they're both hiveworld-based...

I've heard that the PC version is buggy as hell, but the fact that you can choose to play as an undead and be forced to dress yourself in full clothing and/or armor in order to not scare everyone away, be afraid of healing spells and use your own fingers as lockpicks is very enticing to me. I can't even think of an RPG (I can certainly think of a game that let's you play as an undead, like the Red Dead Redemption DLC or Stubbs the Zombie) that gives you that kind of option.

Someone With Mass wrote:Allegedly, he had gotten into a shower with a drunk girl who hadn't given or shown consent. It was meant to be a couple of drinks between friends and it ended up with resentment from the guy after he had driven her to another town. The girl's boyfriend broke up not much later too.
She dropped the forum name of NeoGAF's owner on Facebook and everyone went ape-shit.
I personally never cared enough about NeoGAF to visit it, but I've heard that it was a circle-jerk cesspool that cracked down hard on people with opinions that were different from the mob's general opinion. If that's the case, then fuck 'em.

No idea how this plays out, because it's hard to _kill_ a major forum, even if the owner is a monster. And I'm not entirely sure this guy is, depending on the specifics of consent here.
Yeah, it was once a good forum that had plenty of industry folk posting, but much like BSN, that ended when the userbase got unruly, and then apparently the positions of power were taken over by people with an agenda, and then one thing led to another.

I'm game for that, my time is pretty open so just let me know. Don't think I have you on steam tho.

I have you in my friends list on steam. There is also the steam group where a lot of you are.

Really looking forward to playing the high elves without the maelstrom stuff, given that they got one of the few balanced armies (i.e. no "no archers" or "no cavalry" BS, like other races have to deal with).

My place is going to be sweltering when I get home tonight.

That's the thing, though. It wouldn't be his first offense in that category. He's fully and openly admitted that he once grabbed a woman's ass as hard as he could because when in Rome. No sign of consent there either. The woman couldn't even speak English.
Was NeoGAF filled with lazy mods that barely did their job and thought the best solution to end something was to shut everything down and ban everyone involved too?

Yeah, but Tumblr hates -[everything]- at some point.
Vol wrote:Stormy here today. Some high winds and decent rains. But it wasn't hot, low 70's, though humid. Now we're going into a cold front, yeaaaaah.
I do admit I miss how in the 4 months I spent in California, it was basically mild to pleasant every day in the middle of winter.
SciFlyBoy wrote:Winter, yeah. Just got to wait for October to end til the mild cool starts to come and the leaves turn straight to brown. Then there'll be some strong cold winds in early December, usually the weekend I decide to put up Xmas lights. Then it's a good 1-2 month wait until the rain comes. (Notice that I used the singular for rain). Maybe be in the low 50s until January, then 40's possibly one or two days it'll dip to 30's, and that's always at 5 in the morning. Never during the day. Ah, So Cal weather.
Vol wrote:I was in Irvine, about an hour south of LA, I think, from January to April. It did get chilly some days, but by and large, as I remember, I didn't need more than a longsleeve or a light jacket most days. In SC, even in the pit of winter, it really didn't get below freezing, except at night. Last December I was down there for tooth removal surgery, and it was warm and balmy. I was washing a car in shorts, it was nice. That place is hell the rest of the year tho.

Someone With Mass wrote:Man, you guys are lucky. All I've been getting this week is rain and an average temperature of 6 degree Celsius. Oh and howling winds that wake me up way too early for my liking.
Vol wrote:I have no idea which race I'm starting with. I want muh Tomb Kings, but that's a few months off probably. Might do Vamps, since I never did a proper Power Couple playthrough.
Also Skaven are ridiculous on the battle map, autoresolve is straight up useless for them most of the time. With my LL, I can spawn, assuming a long enough battle, 18 units of infantry by the end. So nearly double what a full stack comes in with. Sure they degrade, but the amount of time the enemy has to spend to chew through them, and then my non-disposable army, is rather long.
